lol I remember when Charles Barkeley during game 5 of the Thunder series said Kobe is too old and didn't have another 30 point game in him.

Kobe changed his shot to use less of the injured finger in mid playoffs and has 5 30+ point games in a row. Thats just ridiculous.

See you in the conference finals Suns.

EDIT: LOL I like how minutes after I post this, Deron Williams calls Chuck out for his comments and Chuck replies, well Kobe's 30 point games didn't make a difference in the games.

I love this, Lakers have a chance to get their revenge for 2007 in the WCF. Now I hope Boston pulls through so we get our revenge for 2008 too.

and the worst part is that they have to pair him with marv albert (my favorite TNT play-by-play guy) in order to make their games even remotely watchable.

btw having watched most of the games this year i'd have to say harlan/collins is my favorite broadcasting team. breen/van gundy/jackson is good too but i'm a real stickler for x's and o's and i think collins is best at that. jackson/van gundy are pretty interesting though for when you want to hear more about the locker room stuff. hubie brown and mike tirico are pretty good as well.

Until you have to listen to Sean Elliot call a Spurs game you don't know what the definition of "suck" is. Goddamn ultra homer, his kidney should play favorites and ask to go back home to its original donor.

    Fuck that guy seriously.

i think i have but probably didn't listen in very long.

celtics games are a little homerish but that's only if you take tommy heinsohn seriously, which i don't. his act is not meant to be and i think it's funny sometimes (just not all the time). he's a little like bill walton whom i think is a lot of fun to listen to.

suns games though, wow.......... i watched a ton of suns games this year and i had to turn the sound off almost every time. i think it's tom chambers who's serves as the analyst, but whoever it is, is the dumbest and biggest homer i've ever heard on television. i remember a game where amare obliterated someone with a clothesline (flagrant obviously) and the guy was saying "oh that's just a good, hard foul." wtf? at least with tommy and bill you know they aren't completely serious. the suns guy is just a moron who makes me wish i was listening to reggie miller and stan van gundy screaming at each other for 2 hours.

all that said i'd rather listen to suns games than laker games cause of stu lantz. listening to his imaginary conversations with players makes me feel like i'm mentally retarded.

I'm the same way with the Blazers. Given the choice, I'd rather watch the national telecast than the local guys. Every other team I root for, I'd rather listen to the local guys since they can offer additional insight. Maybe it's just an NBA thing.

Of course is a homer, he does the Spurs games for San Antonio. Do other home team commentators yell and cheer for the other teams?

How can you hate on Sean Elliot?

If the Spurs are playing on TNT or ESPN, then I watch that. Cause the home network looks bad on my TV.
