i guess chicago is trying to talk to phil jackson about coming back. i'm sure both parties will deny it but regardless, it's legitimately out there now.

yeah saw it on Sports Center yesterday. apparently Chicago went through some "back channels" to see if Jackson would be interested in returning (which got leaked regardless, kind of silly), and he'd be taking as much as a $5 million dollar pay cut next season. that's a pretty big fucking hunk of cash, i'm interested to see what he does even though I think he'll probably stay in LA.

This possibly means the Spurs will try to trade Parker and the 20th pick to the Nets for the 3rd pick and maybe Devin Harris. This probably wont happen, cause if you hear about it, the Spurs wont do it.

Why do you think they would throw in Devin Harris? Are they paying him that much?

i don't really see that happening. the nets are still rebuilding and tony parker is an in his prime PG. it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense for the nets.

plus yi is an atrocious front-court partner with lopez. they need someone who can rebound and defend, neither of which yi can do.
