I really don't care what he's getting paid if they get him off the field. Hell, I'd double that for a bench bonus.
Plus we'll have 16.7M freed up next year when Pep leaves.
Rumors are abound that Gruden may be next in line to take over as well. And we know how that dude is about QBs. He's always looking for the next best thing. Jake wouldn't stand a chance.
It might explain why Gruden is constantly slurping on the Panther's dicks. Christ he gets on my nerves, and he wouldn't really be much of an upgrade (twice as many winning seasons as Fox, but also pretty much ruined the Bucs for a while), but I'd be willing to give anyone a chance at this point.
Plus, rumors are just that. Rumors. Fox is probably going to pull some shit out and bring us an 8-8 season and get his job back next year knowing our luck.
God this week has so many close picks. Ravens-Pats, Jets-Saints, Bucs-Skins, who knows? By the way, my fantasy teams hate bye weeks and so does my fandom.
Detroit @ Chicago
Cincinnati @ Cleveland
Seattle @ Indianapolis
N.Y. Giants @ K.C - Kansas City has to play all 4 NFC East teams in succession. I almost feel bad for them.
Baltimore @ New England - Close pick #1. Baltimore is the best team in the league right now and everyone is predicting that the Pats are on the decline. However, you still have Brady who can pull 300 yards out of his ass (see: Bills game Week 1). I'm going with the Ravens on this one in a close game.
Tampa Bay @ Washington - Close pick #2, lol. Who cares, honestly?
Tennessee @ Jacksonville
Oakland @ Houston
N.Y. Jets @ New Orleans - Close pick #3, going with the sure veteran over the rookie on a hot streak.
Buffalo @ Miami
St. Louis @ San Francisco - Rams, worst etc. etc.
Dallas @ Denver - Cowboys, lol.
San Diego @ Pittsburgh - Is LT back yet? My FFB team depends on it.
Green Bay @ Minnesota - Close pick #4. I really want GB to wipe Favre's smirk off of his face, but this is going to be a shootout. AP will be the deciding factor as usual.
Last week: 12-4
Season: 37-11
I've come to a sad realization, I'm pretty sure the Cowboys can beat any team as long as Tony Romo never throws the ball.
We can only wish.
Although if we run 100 draws a game eventualy someone will figure out how to stop it.
I'm only half joking, just leave the Tony Romo magic/heroics for when we are trailing and if it works it works and if it doesn't well we were going to lose anyways - otherwise keep feeding it to Barber/Jones/Choice. Don't need to be a hero on 1st and 10 and try to air it out for 40 yds when we are in the lead.
Yep, that's my concern. It is seriously like dive/iso plays beat Garrett as a kid or something. I have no idea. He thinks he tricks everyone, but eventually everyone is just going to start blitzing the hell out of everything and go right in Romo's direction because they'll either hit him, or the RB with the ball.
I was wondering why Ray Lewis said our offense was so simplistic and easy to figure out. The more and more I watch it, the more I see how right he is.
Oh I know, I totally agree. Just ask Favre how much he is liking a solid running game right about now.
Yeah we run a 3-4, its simple to know what were doing most the time, we dont have alot of speed at linebacker to disguise blitzes but we do very well.
Oh snap! I smell something burning in here!
Good enough, but its still hypocritical to smash one team for sucking ass for the same reasons and you have to make the play offs in order to get bounced in the first round.
I know we've sucked ass and havent won a playoff game in 13 years, even after having good or decent seasons, dont need anyone to keep smashin that in, we get the hint.
How is it hypocritical when I smash both teams? I dun get it.
It's getting kinda' eerie how similar they are. Strong running game, choke artist QBs, great on paper yet shitty on the field, Jerry vs. Jerry.
My head might splode soon.
