On topic: I was charged 4~x the normal amount back in January. Instead of paying $13-something, I was billed $50-something.

No server transfers, no expansions. Extra $37-something out of nowhere. I called them up and they couldn't do anything about the charge. I didn't even get the next month free.

Check last months bill, see if you were correctly billed then. Maybe they were collecting past due.

I've been billed correctly for all months in the past.

I'm mildly annoyed that I can't call them up because they'll most likely chargeback and ban all 3 of my accounts.

Good luck with your account. Call them and try to get a refund, even if it might get you banned.

On an unrelated note wasn't there something about RMT being the cause of double charges? Could have sworn I seen something about that on JP Button. Perhaps they're going down that road again?

Only time I have noticed is after the mini expansion comes and it bills me the next month. I just didn't anticipate the delay and saw it as a current purchase. They are pretty good about refunds though if it is visible.

@Starr, they ban if you dispute/collect the charges through your bank without notifying them. This is because they (SE/POL) see it as a legitimate charge until you contact them and let them know about it being an error, requesting the refund through them. Just don't do a chargeback from your bank's side because it appears as an attempt to stop a valid payment which causes the ban.

I just called them. If you go to the billing center, there's no hold time lol. The guy is trying to figure out what the charge is.

Yes, I did (cable company, schools, government, manufacture...online stuff were dealt with e-mail usually). Some make you wait a long time and sound like douchebags, other hire people who don't speak french (or english), but luckily, there is a few that are helpful. That's not really an issue here though.

My concern is how they handle the customer on every level, from GM service, to their billings method, or online/phone service.

And "worst" was an exageration. Cable company win that award. However, it doesnt make SE better.
