It seems SE either charges me 25 bucks, or 14 bucks randomly. Is that a double charge... or else why is there an extra 10 dollars. Aren't they committing a crime here? I'm not sure how its possible for them to get away with this.
Wouldn't ten dollars be the price of a mini expansion or security token, if you brought those recently? Not sure of the price for people in the US.

Actually, upon further inspection of old CC statments, they have pretty much charged me random amounts between 14-16 and sometimes 25 randomly...
Just skimming the thread but yeah I called them up today about having my debit card pushed through their little VbV back door, and the guy who I was on the phone with;
A. Wasn't a dipshit
B. Spoke english fluently
C. Didn't give me 800 years of bullshit runaround when I tried to remember the birthday I created my account with because I was a minor, he just let me guess until I got it right and then he informed me that they can't change birthdays and suggested I write down my awesomely fake birth year so I don't forget it if this happened again.
D. Proceeded to help me with my fucking problem.
I was so impressed I told him thanks like 6 times and told him his boss should know that customer support has come a long way.

Other than that, when was the $9.99 late fee put in? I've had my account close due to not having money on the debit card many times but this was the first month I had an extra $10 on top to reactivate.

My sister's account, which she rarely plays but I was still paying for, got hacked near the end of this month. I had tried to send her some quest items and tried to log her account in to pick them up for her, but the password I had didn't work. I asked her if she'd changed it and she said no, so I called SE and had the password reset. Upon logging in to her account I found 5 new characters, all lvl 1 war blond humes, and 15 new IDs active (there was only 1 character on the account before).
They unlinked the original character from her POL handle so that her friends wouldn't know when her account was online:

Apparently they charged me for a world transfer and all those new character IDs, even though the original character hadn't been moved from the original server >< Going to cancel the account as soon as I get my refund, my sister really mainly plays WoW anyway and only played FFXI occasionally to play with me and my husband...
Yet another reason I hate there billing system.
They should require you to enter your current billings credit card number again for every additional ID that is attempted to be added and for world transfers. For verification in the case of a compromised account.
A burden to enter it I know, but then again, are you really going to buy 15 IDs every month and then cancel them the next month and world transfer every 3 months that much? Correct response, No, unless your a scam artist running from LS's with their banks or your an RMT.
Secondly additional characters should be free after like 15 bucks, most MMO's(With like 2 being the exception) give you 8+ characters at a 15 buck price every month.

For fuck's sake. I had not gotten around to checking my statements cause I was lazy, but I too was charged 25.90 on Oct. 2nd and only have one account. Now, if I dispute this charge with my bank, I'm highly likely to get banned? What the fuck.
Well I got my refund from SE for the $80.90 that the RMT had run up on my card.
It looks like they hacked one of my old deactivated accounts which still had the credit card info on it and went to town just like Izzy. My existing accounts are both fine. My main has the token attached while the mule doesn't.
The customer service was surprisingly good. They managed to get my stuff straightened out in about 15 minutes. I used the online chat method to contact them.
It took them about 4 business days to refund me my money. I have since then changed my passwords, scanned my computer, finding nothing, and canceled/replaced my old credit card. I'm sure as hell going to keep a close eye on my bank statement next month.
