Capcom asks how you want RE5: Alternative Edition's extra content

Over at Capcom Unity, they're polling individuals on what they would like to see in a localized version of the recently revealed Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition. In Japan, the title is coming on a new disc to the retail space, but Capcom is still entertaining different delivery solutions for North America and Europe, namely digital distribution as DLC for the original game. Since Capcom's had success with the Versus add-on and recent digital wares such as SSF2THD and Marvel vs Capcom 2, it's willing to go that route if the demand is high enough. So Capcom put up a poll and, if you want your voice heard, we suggest you make with the clickings.

As for tangible, things-you-can-see-in-front-of-you-right-now news, we'd like to direct your attention to GAME Watch. The site's put up some screens from the new "Lost in Nightmares" mission that takes us back in time to the classic team's jaunt through the Spencer Mansion and, as you can see above, Jill's defense of her status as the Master of Unlocking.

As someone who has used the PS3 motion control prototype extensively (I have friends) I'm curious how it'll work out. Possibilities are endless, but it's easy to fuck up too.

Biggest worry is that it'll be tiring, all the other shit I've played with it wears my arms out quickly. 1:1 motion isn't all it's cracked up to be.

This is the main problem I find natal may have. Unless you want to stand for long periods of time it may not be as fun. The wands can at least be used similarly to the wii-motes, I could at least see sitting on a couch using them.

I'm very ok with this. I was prepared to rebuy RE5, but I'll just get the DLC instead.

I'd rather have the DLC too, but only because I spent an assload of time fully upgrading all weapons and farming up points for infinite ammo on quite a few of them.

As much as I loved the Wii motion controls for RE4 (enough to replay it after doing almost everything in the ps2 version), I just don't know if I could bring myself to deal with Sheva's retardedness in single player all over again.

Invest in a friend to play it with you. The game is 10x more fun with someone in the room to scream with and yell at for getting you killed.

I think I like the fairy tale costume for Sheva more. They should release more costumes for Jill and Wesker too.
