Lay on hands nerf is NOT a pvp nerf, it's squarely directed at tanks using it specifically.
Honestly, I don't find it as terrible because, well, I'll just macro it for my pally offtank and have him do the same for me.
But that's definitely the point. I promise you they didn't nerf LoH because of idiots crying about battlegrounds.
The sacred shield nerf, though... that's just crazy. It's either them honestly not realizing what they're doing, or setting up to finally give us either a reasonable interrupt or a 20% ms or something.
Hence the comment on the exo interrupt, with exo at 15 seconds and requiring an AoW proc (and also using it up, therefore with opportunity cost of a FoL), I can see them having decided it's finally ok to give ret an interrupt.
At first glance it's clearly aimed squarely at prot healing and dps arena builds, but I'd like to give them a little more credit than to think they'd be so foolish as to overlook its effects on ret, which is already in bad shape, and compounding a nerf to pve tanking in loh, particularly on pally tanks in 10 man that don't run with a pally healer.
I have a pally, and I'm still ecstatic!

One pally requiring 5+ people to take down gets really fucking old quick. It was overpowered, now it's gone. Done is done. Like i said before, until blizzard is willing to open their eyes and see that we WANT to have pve and pvp (any form, be it bg or arena) abilities separated, we all just kind of have to groove on the changes.

From a newbie's perspective (first char, now a ret pala 54) it's a shame to see LoH go, it was real handy if I got myself into bad situations in PvE. Although I'm sure I can do without as long as I'm a little bit more careful and don't stack the odds against me too much, like fighting 3-4 mobs a couple levels above me at the same time.
Plow: Hammer of Justice as an interrupt/stun, no? I use it a lot on casters to interrupt their spells.
Also, when will this patch go live?
