I still see it in above 2K brackets

some of the following are the popular comps:

    DK, Lock, Dru

    DK, War, Pal

    DK, Hunter, Pal

    DK, Rogue, Priest

Oh I'm not saying it's moreso than it used to be, they used to be everywhere but they still are a popular class in PVP right now

But they aren't extremely succesful. The top teams simply don't use DKs very often

Count the DKs. There are fewer DKs in the top teams than hunters.

    WORSE THAN HUNTERS

I don't know if pillar humping druids or iwin button hunters make me more pissed off. That new shit warriors have that is basically an iwin button is lame too.

I was also going to state that DK's arent where they were and those comps arent great.

2k means nothing. Around 2200 and again at 2400 is when the faceroll teams disappear and you start facing real teams.

Are any of you besides Arv actually rated above 2k in any bracket?

and stop trying to nitpick at how specific i list things. You should know better that every single comp isnt EXACTLY the same, but very similar.

and yeah you're right I dont have any experience above 2k bracket so i dont speak from experience. :\

We all know the only real 3v3 team is Rogue Mage Priest.

Not only did they buff Desecration and leave CoI intact, but they also reverted Bone Shield back to its 5min duration. Thank god, that shit was annoying.

Sigh you are being pretty thick.

My post originally was that dk's aren't where they were and are mostly apart of faceroll teams, which typically disappear in the higher brackets (and that 2k is easy enough to get so you should have went higher). Then you go and list several faceroll teams...

Then you link one of the 7? dk's in the top 100 of 3s which reiterates my post again. Never in my post did I say you were bad or said you didn't have the experience, but you sure are acting like an asshole replying with all that arrogance. Did you misread the post? Sure looks that way putting those words in my mouth.

Misread, it seemed like you were pointing out the fact of me making mention of 2k = that I have no idea what its like beyond that bracket. If you're agreeing with me, then ya. My apologies.

lol at that convo, calm down guys you sound like the wow forums :3

You can see what we are saying easily looking at the history on SK, they have it listed by patches, here I'll even link it:

World of Warcraft Arena Ranking | SK Gaming

Look at the DK's in patch 3.0.5 and look at them now. They aren't wtf pwn anymore and are pretty much glorified warriors with no MS. We have a few tasty tricks but from what I've read we have been toned down dramatically. I wouldn't know as was pointed out, I do not have 2k+ experience yet, as I just dinged a week ago on my DK.

Oh and thank god on the bone sheild, 1min was fucking annoying.

Pretty much what Day said, though DK has only lost a lot of representation in arenas due to being scaled back to more in line with where we should be as a class. The only reason DK had such high representation in earlier arena seasons was because as a class we were horribly OP and capable of literally curb stomping almost every other class.

Also old PS HoT removal, instant frost rune refresh PvP gloves, etc.

Where DK is as a class at the moment is fine, though I do agree that we seem to be really poorly represented in higher bracket arena play, but I think that's more from the fact that a lot of the old representation was from people just facerolling, and not a genuine inability for good players to take the class to 2200+ ratings.

DK's are mostly part of facerolling teams now and like mentioned, once you get closer to 2200, and then even more so at 2400, the facerolling teams thin out and you hit shitty stuff like double healer and beast/wizard cleaves... the 1-3min matches turn into 7-15minute matches and it's very defensive and cc based - which is why most DK teams just dissapear.

However if you are running a comp with melee+caster it gets annoying to face Pally/warrior/dk's cause the paladin doesn't even have to heal, and the caster is just chain pummeled and it gets retarded.

Right now I'm hoping hunters and Enh's lose some of their edge. Blizzard has said they are under-represented, but now they are surely OVER represented.

Speaking 3s ofcourse and around 2200 since my higher rated team broke. Stupid 5's was sick last season but I don't even know where to begin now. SOOOO tempted to transfer my rogue to another server and/or horde just to pvp on it at the higher level I'm used to. There is like 1 good ally mage on my server, and I can't find a decent LS or PM for those comps. It's getting harder as rogue lol. Weaponswapping lulz

Not sure if this should be a separate thread or not, but IC raid info has been released.

Countless lives have been lost since the Alliance and Horde first reached the frozen wastes, but the champions of Azeroth continue to march forward. Now Icecrown Citadel, the cornerstone of the Scourge's power and the home base of the Lich King, is their final target. Tirion Fordring and the Argent Crusade have forged an alliance with Darion Mograine and the Knights of the Ebon Blade to form the Ashen Verdict. The strongest combatants of this coalition, along with the champions of the Alliance and Horde, will lead the charge against the citadel.

This dungeon reveals the culminating story events and battles of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack. Join the legendary heroes Highlord Tirion Fordring, High Overlord Saurfang, Muradin Bronzebeard, Highlord Darion Mograine, and King Varian Wrynn in an epic battle against the Scourge and their master. Icecrown Citadel features 10- and 25-player versions of the raid dungeon, and each version has 12 encounters. Each encounter can be fought in either normal or Heroic mode, and players can use a new user interface feature to toggle easily between difficulties. The rewards in the raid dungeon start at item level 251 in the normal mode with 10-player encounters, increase to item level 264 in the Heroic mode with 10 players and the normal mode with 25-player encounters, and then finally reach item level 277 in the Heroic mode with 25 players.

    Grand Entrance of the Citadel

After breaching the fortress, players will face a legion of undead guards directed to repel any invaders. Commanding the defenders is Lord Marrowgar, a monstrosity fused together from the bones of the undead. Supreme Overseer of the Cult of the Damned, Lady Deathwhisper is the next opponent. She bolsters the faith of her followers by promising them the opportunity to give eternal service in undeath.

As they continue their ascent, the Alliance and Horde heroes ultimately end up outside of the citadel where their hatred for one another erupts into a battle for dominance over the Rampart of Skulls. Players will join in battle alongside High Overlord Saurfang on the Orgrim's Hammer gunship or Muradin Bronzebeard on The Skybreaker in a unique encounter. Each faction will protect its gunship and try to destroy the other one in a back-and-forth battle to see who is truly worthy of facing the Lich King.

The Lich King's most powerful death knight then stands as the final obstacle for the heroes to enter the upper reaches of the citadel.

    The Wings of Icecrown Citadel

After the heroes of the Alliance or Horde defeat the other faction on the gunships and wipe out the creatures near the entrance, players will venture into an area with three separate wings. Here they will face a multitude of terrors that must be vanquished in order to confront the Lich King.

In the Frostwing Halls players will battle alongside the Ashen Verdict and push into the lair of the deadly frost wyrm Sindragosa, who continues to strengthen her brood with the help of Ymirheim's vrykul. Along the way, the heroes will stumble upon Valithria Dreamwalker, a captured green dragon whom the Scourge is using as a test subject for their own ends....

The Plagueworks contains the most twisted experiments ever produced by the Scourge. In this wing players will face two new forms of abomination in Festergut and Rotface, who currently protect their devious creator, Professor Putricide.

The Crimson Hall contains the leaders of the San'layn, undead blood elves who oversee the Scourge's operations throughout Azeroth. The blood-princes Valanar, Keleseth, and Taldaram were raised into undeath by the Lich King to avenge themselves while protecting their blood-queen, Lana'thel.
    The Frozen Throne

After clearing all three wings, players will ascend to the Frozen Throne, where the Lich King and his runeblade, Frostmourne, await to deliver them to their deaths....

They already said there's no vehicle fights in Icecrown, so we'll be spared any FL/Malygos/ToC5 antics.

Although I have to say Professor Putricide sounds like it should be the bad guy from some horribly drawn Saturday morning cartoon from the early 90's.
