We completed our 2nd and final mace last week. We're never going inside again.

Our 2nd mace sat at 22 fragments for a long while, we haven't done Ulduar for like 3-4 weeks and now that we did a "fragment run"... we get 0 fucking drops except for Yogg. Our luck, lol.
Baby heads alone are worth the 2-3 hours. Not to mention the cash for repairs, flasks, paychecks, whatever. We probably wouldn't do it if we were still working in ToGC though.
I just saw this. Both of these set bonuses are AMAZING, especially the Ele set which is a huge upgrade from the medicore t9 4set. I think that might finally push CL out of my rotations unless there's actually extra mobs to hit. I'm sure that LvB is supposed to be 1.5 seconds though.
Resto Shaman set is god but I really liked the tier 9 set already so I'm happy regardless of that. We will get our fastcast LHW back and HW might end up being as fast as LHW before the Riptide change, plus CH will get even better when it's great now.
So awesome...
The reason 10 mans are such a joke is that if you're in a decent 25 man guild, you're already basically running with the quality of gear you're intended to have after having them on farm for a while.
Not that ToC wasn't excessively easy, but Ulduar 10 was too, really, and naxx 10 was easier than some heroics in the gear we went into it with.
I'd expect that if you're rocking full 232, IC 10 man will be pretty tough. If you're rocking full 245, IC 10 man heroics will be pretty tough.
On Blackrock I know of one group in particular that successfully sells a lot, all 10 man, rates are:
Drake: 35k
Algalon kill: 15k
Drake + Algalon key + Algalon kill: 45k
Wait, so is 25yogg0 lights easy now that ToGC and shit is out?
IMO any guild in ToGC25 should have gone back to Ulduar and killed Alg/Yogg0. Its so much easier with new gear and there's no excuse. It's also great practice for your raid team in different mechanics and personal responsibility. Learning Firefighter/Alg/Freya/Yogg0 helps a lot when it comes time to learn Anub Heroic, or something hard in ICC.
Alas most guilds just farm their loots and say fuck Ulduar without even touching Alg or Yogg0. Their loss.
My old server got their server first Algalon a week ago.
So pro.
Yeah that's true. I'm a little too casual though since FFXi kind of interferes with some shit :/.
As long as you can manage to not stand in fire the sky is the limit
This is my problem -- it annoys the crap out of me that guild just doesn't care about Uld anymore, so I'm stuck with some 200s due to bad luck on drops and it makes me feel guilty when I'm in ToCr; but I also still play ffxi regularly so I'm not getting the face time with guild that I could so I can't blame them for not wanting to run extra content just because an infrequent member wants to go.
I've thought about quitting ffxi for wow cause I have looooooads more fun in raids than I do in any repeating xi content (not a wow vs xi post, just commentary) but I can't watch new TV while playing wow dammit >.>!
Arv- What, because I watch TV while doing xi?
Not really relevant, xi just doesn't demand the same kind of constant attention. There's a big difference between having to push a button every 1.5 sec and having to push a button every 5~10 sec.
i was just taking a shot at ff11 because im an asshole.
id say give that up, you would have more fun ultimately in wow, especially with a high end game guild
I just WoW it up til I get bored, then go back to FFXI for a couple months til I get bored or another linkshell dies of attrition, then come back, etc.
Kinda wishing I wouldn't have skipped out on Ulduar so much though, HM's aren't that much fun when you don't really know what the hell is going on and you're just trying not to look stupid.
Definitely going to stay all out on WoW for IC.
