Quick iTunes/Mac/Mp3 Question

I have some mp3s that my brother in law would like to check out, but he uses a Mac laptop and I, being a relative computer nub, don't know if he'd be able to pull mp3s off a DVD if I burned it for him on my Windows XP computer. Should he be able to? Also, I never have used iTunes or an iPod, if he can pull them off the dvd, will he be able to play them via itunes, put them on his iPod, and burn them to CD?

Shouldn't have any problem with 'em. Occasionally you can have problems going the other way if the Mac files don't have file extensions, but that's become a lot less common with OS X.
