MP3 Tags

I've a bajillion zillion MP3 songs and audio books. The audio books are driving me insane because they're always out of order when I put them on my iPod (it comes up with millions of Track 01s in a row). I have been trying for the last several hours to find a programme that will allow me to remove all the tags and put in new ones easily (like in huge clumps of half a bajillion zillion at a time) that is also free. I've found several that allow me to do 5 or 10 in trial versions but this number doesn't even put a dent in the whole library. Please, if you have any suggestions could you let me know? I haven't tried TagScanner (I probably will when I get home) but Tag&Rename gets the job done, although does have a 30 day limit unless you pay or get naughty or whatever
