So, first of all, I was very surprised and impressed to see Live get a very good rating. I won't be buying it, but it's good to see they actually care that their game is resting on the laurels of Live '95, and they're trying to put out a quality product.

Second, I think it's a sign that there isn't a thread about this game, the day before release. Maybe FFXI players aren't avid Basketball gamers? Who knew?

But for anybody considering it, I'll have it for the 360 probably later this week. So if you want to get a few games in, we can share Gamertags and phone numbers and bra sizes and paypal account information, pictures, anything else that's needed for gaming these days.

I will be picking up one of the two. I have been a LIVE guy for years but I may finally make the switch this year. Gonna have to DL both demos and see. They both have their positives/negatives for the most part.

I did see the rankings for my team (Celtics) and was kinda surprised by the individual ratings (Rondo second best player). Also i read about the ratings for the Lakers players in 2k and was kinda shocked(Luke Waltons rating mainly)... way too high for some of them.

Hah, that's weird. Well that's always the case though, God players in videogames who suck horribly in the real Association. But then again, games these days have customizable attributes, or they sync with the season.

Anyone else having problems with this game...? Mine keeps crashing in the My Player Mode during the substitutions. It's pissing me off to no end.... I'd probably have broken a controller by now if I didn't realize that I was poor.


And not speaking for this years NBA LIVE, but all the past ones were horrible.....

Uh-oh. You know I heard that Ultimate Alliance 2(the only game I have so far) has glitching issues. I'm not sure if it's happened to me, although players have randomly been dropped from my Live "campaigns" or w/e.

I'll be on the lookout for that. Was going to get it by the month's end, and that's not the type of thing I like in my $50-60 games. Preciate the heads up.

I hope my AI plays better team D in the real game. Howard is Bynum's bitch in the demo, lol. He'll like let Bynum establish position right under the basket, or lose a rebound 70% of all the times I play, and I'm like

Pretty much, Live hasnt been decent since 05, and the only thing good about it was the slam dunk contest, 2k has always been better.
