I am currently sitting in class drunk. It's been an insanely shitty day and I just can't be fucking bothered to wait until later to start drinking to feel better. So now I'm sitting in a nearly two hour lecture completely buzzed, and I couldn't give a shit what's being said or done by the professor.

You might say my life is in disarray, but you know what? Fuck letting that get me down, no good will come of that. Easier said than done, sure... you might even be worse off than I am. Fair enough.
But honestly, do yourself a favor and at least try to focus on what's positive in your life.

You shouldn't be trying to escape your problems, not saying you should try to tackle everything head on. Worry about what you have some control over (even if it is limited) and do what you can do to make the situation better.

You need to be focusing on making your life better because no one else is going to give enough of a damn to do it for you, especially if you're not up to the task yourself.
