Since I'm not wasting gil on dusk gloves anymore I'm looking, and actually have been looking for a while, for -1 cursed kabuto, have an abj laying around. I may just end up going to murder hurricane wyverns for a while until I can HQ a wyvern helm. Need to get around to getting rutters too but ugh, air tanks are so zzz to farm those thf mobs solo. Need to get that +2 str RSE ammo too. Eh, lots of little touch up spots but overall I guess I'm happy with this. Quite honestly I'm just happy I have all the ws torques I'll ever need.

I have a Wyvern Earring for 26% haste build but don't have the /drg yet

My pld has had a lot of new little toys since I last post it, guess I'll get around to posting it sometime in the near future again

Having 2 minuets, tossing some attack for haste is even better than without. Diminishing returns and Gekko not needing much attack.

Need to finish leveling drg so I can just sit on 26% easily.

Oh and I have only ever used sam for a merit pt once, and that was just because I wanted a change. Now I get pretty much all my merit points from other methods, so my sam is mostly just used in dynamis or einherjar, and my hit rate has to be right at near cap( +52acc in gear without counting the dex bonus of haidate). I know pizza is great for jobs that really need the acc but I really hate the idea of limiting myself to 50 att with food

Maybe it's better for /war where I'll have higher att from job traits/berserk, and buns for /drg since I'll probably just barely be breaking 550 with minuets?

Or you could do the sensible thing and use pizza, tp in cerb +1/turban and buy a justice torque from another linkshell. Then get a pcc off AH, and still have money leftover instead of ancient torque. This would leave you with a significant amount more accuracy, higher fSTR (+1 all of the time and +2 25% of the time). You'd lose a bit of attack but even with berserk up in your current gear you aren't getting the full +150 attack from red curry with just 1 minuet. If you were subbing /drg with 1 minuet then red curry is only provide 108ish attack.

You don't have Amano so you don't have much need for additional attack on Gekko (especially not for anything you'll be subbing /drg for) and on a job that has the highest tp:melee damage ratio you need to focus on increasing WS frequency.

getting it from ls. I may buy justice torque, thought about it but honestly not many ls's on caitsith selling it. But yeah, if I'm giving up 7 acc and 4 str for 1% haste shouldn't I use blitz ring instead of 1 of the toreaders too? Put me at 23% haste in gear, and I could live with using pizza for 2% haste, lol. I know that during ykg att is essentially doubled, so I would only need 500 att to cap it on ws? Or is the cap higher than 999 for ws calculations?

Maybe I should be putting all these questions in random question thread lol

If sam could use blitz ring I'd have been all over it, unfortunately its just drk/war/pld/lolbst. Attack calculations definitely go over 999 as far as I've seen (based on the assumption that gekko doubles attack), you can definitely make use of the additional attack but it doesn't outweigh the additional accuracy (assuming you can make use of it) and the extra haste. 1% haste may not sound like much but if you are already sitting on +27% from march/haste then it would take you from 49% to 50% which is almost 2% reduction in delay.

I understand your situation with ring choice but rajas would benefit your pld more than sattva ring anyway, but that is another another debate entirely!

I change my War a lot, but I think I'm going to stick with this for awhile. Suggestions etc. welcome.

1. Tp gain with Agg up, a few dex over the bird cap for good measure.
2. Tp gain Agg down 1 dex from bird cap but that is fine.
3. Tp gain for evasive shit like Lurkers etc..
4. RR Agg up
5. RR Agg down
6. RR for really evasive shit etc.
7. Steel Cyclone- I only use with Warrior's Charge so I like the acc for that second hit.
8. lol ohshit for war. I don't have crap for phys dmg taken - gear so I just use evasion. Works well enough with evasion merits.

Any advice or comments are appreciated. War is so damn versatile gear wise I am always trying new shit on it.

Merits:

5/5 Dex *Cuz Dex build*
4/4 Crit
8/8 GA
3/3/4 Begressor/DA *I prefer it this way*
5/5 Wc
5/5 Savagery

Those are the only merits relevant to list.

Forgot I had Merman's earring laying around for my -magic% taken before I got aegis so added that for an extra 1 att lol. I've been really considering getting rajas but I'd really like to use any of my melee jobs more in order to justify it, and right now only thing I use sam for either I'm one of the few without a melee relic so it's such a slight upgrade (einherjar), and not like this gear isn't only a slight upgrade from the more casual without a relic, or there's so many of us the mobs die within 4-5 seconds of melee and most of my tp comes from meditate anyways (dynamis)

edit: I really do need to get a pcc while I wait for ancient torque/justice lol, looks so gimp having this gear and then chivalrous chain haha

NQ darksteel in appropriate slots > what you have. Get aurum legs for SC and ditch the ares gauntlets for heca +1 at the VERY least.

I always gloss over your RR set cuz it's hard to fuck up RR, so yeah.

I'm not sure what you mean by Gloss over.. But yeah I had DG+1, sold them to a JP for an A-torque and 11m, which on Cerb is basically 23m. And yeah, I ONLY use Steel Cyclone with Warrior's Charge because it is usually worthless without that second hit. That is why I have the extra acc, because I miss that 2nd hit a lot.

Edit: Oh yeah, I have Aurum legs, I'll probably at least use those. I used to use them but they are so ugly I just quit after awhile and threw them in storage. One of these days I will buy a H haidate. Also, do you think it would be worth it to use Foragers over Cuch for RR Sath since I have plenty of Dex and Acc?
