With a Rose strap, that should put you at a 6-hit setup. Don't think you need the Echopria ring.

Wouldn't alkys be better for jump? idk these things.
Off-topic: Sath, I love your sig quote.
Carry on.
@ DOOM
Far too much accuracy for campaign
I know campaign is lol, but you may as well use foragers, blitz and warwolf (WS obviously) when you can.
But for everything else you look good.
Yeah, I'm not too worried about gearing for campaign specifically even though it's where I've been getting lots of exp recently, I just wanna make sure I'm ok for events mainly.
Thanks for the feedback so far, I don't know many drgs who play "seriously", so any advice is welcome.
Keeping it short and simple and posting some of my RDM sets. Excluding Recast/MDT/Enmity/Damage Down/Melee/Higher Resist/Dark Magic/Curing etc. Anyway from Left to Right

1.Idle Set could use W legs.. when in kiting or taking damage I'll switch to my damage down set Darksteel +1 etc.
2.INT Enfeebles. Hands are shadow cuffs.
3.Para/Slow Proc Rates need ZNM shield
4.Resting Set. Relaxing earring etc.
5.Nuking Set, this set obviously needs some work, but currently for my salvage crew Gate Widow doesn't exist for us.. on lower resist mobs I'll macro in Zenith mitts instead but I found the +8 elemental magic on genie gages a lot more helpful when I solo things such as Zipacna/Faust etc.
I use my RDM mostly for solo, and I'm more of a defensive RDM.
hence the Wind merits oppose to Convert merits which are debatable on your RDM's playstyle.
5/5 Ice 5/5 Wind
5/5 Bio 3 5/5 Slow II
Yea, if you play as a poor RDM you merit something other than convert. Wind or Earth merits might be justifiable before you get decent enfeebling gear, but with the gear you have they're not debatable.. they're clearly inferior to convert. Additionally, if you want to justify genie gages for a nuking set, you should probably be wearing duelist's tights and elemental earring as well as they're extremely similar tradeoffs(earring being a slightly better trade and tights being slightly worse).
Yeah, I did wind pre-dchap and most of my gear, when I was a poor RDM, haven't had the chance to modify any of my current merits. When I have the time to merit convert completely I'll probably do it. I don't really have MP issues. I did wind on the fact, that I didn't want to risk resisting (being a poor RDM @the time too) and I geuss the whole Survival > Killing faster ideals from other RDM buddies with similar gear to mine. Therefore not like I resist much @ all really, so I'll take you up on that. I have No desire to do dynamis again also to have inventory -1 from that elemental earring, I'll just pick up a pair of goliard cuffs until Gate Widow decides to pop and put out. Anyhow thanks for your suggestion.
Figured I'd post my PLD to get some feedback. Probably looks pretty cookie cutter, but oh well. Ambiguous gear is swift belt, Ethereal earring, Lieutenant's sash... and I think that's it.
1: Idle set when engaged for Atonement. I'm kind of an MP whore, as I like to be able to spam cure cheat if need be, so that explains the Ares and Parade. If MP is not an issue at all, replace those two with Homam and PCC (though I'm hearing Haub+1 would be better than Homam?).
2: Idle set when Atonement isn't an option. Decent amount of HP+ and refresh thrown in. Nothing special. Whenever Valhalla pieces start trickling in, those will go here.
3: Flash gear. Not much to say here. Enmity and enough haste/fastcast to cap recast with haste and marches. Lately I've been wondering if I might be better off using IR body for flashes and exchanging the Nuevo body for something else. Though that would mean I'd lose it for my Utsu casts. Thoughts?
4: Magic defense set. This is what I've been working on most recently; mainly by finally sucking it up and campaigning my ass off for IR gear. Gives me -26% MDT and +17% MDB. Whenever I can get my hands on a Valhalla helm, the plan is to use that for the head slot and replace belt with a Resolute and feet with IR feet, which will give me -25%/+22%.
5: Ni set. Hoping to pick up a Blitz ring when I have some expendable cash. I think this might actually be overkill when I have haste/marchx2. Should I swap turban for Koenig or something?
6: Ichi set. Shadow mantle isn't gonna happen, so the only upgrades I can see here are a blitz ring and kaiser helm.
7: Enmity set. I Atonement in this. Need to do some macro tweaking to mesh this set with my Sentinel, Rampart, etc. sets. Next AN purchase will be IR feet for this set and the eventual Mdef set I mentioned earlier.
I do have a Cure IV swap, VIT gear for rampart, relic feet for Sentinel, some pretty meh resist sets and so on, but didn't bother to list those. Reasonable upgrades (barring relic/Dring) I can think of are: Cerb(+1), Hades+1, Baha mask, Valhalla, Toreador's, Vbelt, and HQ stuff like Kaiser gear -- anything else?
Unless you're solo or whatever you're fighting is fully undebuffed there should be very few situations where you are ever casting ichi in full shield skill and not having it back up after casting ni over it.
It's such a short recast timer that I'd only do 3 gear sets for it when I was 100% solo (fc -> shield -> haste)
I don't see a rajas or sattva, but I do see homam, ethereal, etc. Tamas <.<?
Have Rajas, and yes I read the thread from a couple weeks back that had 5 pages of people back and forth arguing whether Rajas is appropriate as an Atonement ring. I have Iota, Ulth, Rajas all available, just wasn't sure which combo to use. Would Iota/Ulth, Iota/Rajas, Rajas/Ulth be best, considering I don't have Toreador's at the moment?
And yeah, as Sath and Valisk said, my Ichi set is just my Ichi set. I don't do any midcast swaps.
From what I gathered amongst all those post, rajas + acc ring would do you more good as a tank than accx2. As to whether you should go Iota/Rajas or Ulth/Rajas, I'll leave that to people that are more up to date with it than I considering I haven't played in months. I just try to keep up with this stuff in case I ever decide to pick it back up <.<

This is what I'm currently using on War.
1. TP gain for Aggressor up.
2. TP gain for Aggressor down.
3. RR Aggressor Up
4. RR Aggressor Down
5. Steel Cyclone
6. TP Gain for really evasive shit
It probably looks weird, but it is my crit build. I retain almost all haste and have enough acc to cap on birds. I lose one haste when Agg is down but I can accept that for now. Once I finish Dex merits I can drop the Thunder Ring for agg down and be at 116 dex which is fine by me. I still need an E body, but yeah, this works for now. I only use Steel Cyclone with WC so that is why it has some acc in there.
For the majority of things I use my War for I can cap acc with all this. Limbus, dynamis, einherjar, meriting, and the occasional 6song SV zerg of big shit. I'd still like to get an A torque for some of the more evasive mobs in those areas though and of course an Ebody, but for the most part it's finished. Still gonna try for some Dex+3 Dusk Gloves with no -str like Sath got also. Those will put me right at 117 dex when I finish my Dex merits for Agg down tp with blitz ring. ^^/
Edit: I still need KJ, currently on floor 45. I also have a ws acc macro for high evasive mobs like Lurkers but posting it is pretty irrelevant. Imagine AGG down RR with Ares hands, aurum feet, and hollow earring and Thunder Ring.
Rajas reduces the number of hits to reach 100 TP when using a joytoy (going from 17 to 16 hits) = 6.25% increase in WS frequency.
For a 5 acc ring to give the same increase in WS rate you would need a base hit rate of 40%.
So less than 40% hit rate = 5 acc ring
More than 40% hit rate = rajas
