I'd like some recomendations on Penta builds.
Set 1 is more attack based whereas Set2 is Stat based, both have the SAM acc, give or take a few.

I can mix/match between these to builds, If that would be better?

Notes: No MKD head for SAM, no Shadow gorget(yet), no polarm merits.

For my penta set on samurai I use a more typically stat based build. It would be similar to your 2nd set but I use a few different pieces. Things like warwolf belt, iota/thunder ring instead of flame, love torque, usukane haramaki etc. I typically try to as much dex and accuracy as I can then some mixture of strength/attack gear. I just think you should base it more off of dex and accuracy because polearm is only 240 skill on samurai so you might miss a bit too much if only 1 brd or 1 cor. The attack build might be ok if you have both a cor and brd. I've never really done a full attack build on samurai, so this is just my opinion, im not basing it off anything. If I were you I would just make maybe 3 different sets. Your #1 and #2 and maybe more of a mixmatch as a #3. And just parse it and compare how you think it does.

I guess if your spamming crab sushi, your attack setup might work out ok as well. But if you use a more dex/acc setup you can spam mithakbobs which potentially could be better.

DRK can use enfeebling and dark magic sets so that's gonna be another bunch of slots.

I actually do get use out of enfeeblan, especially in nyzul and shit.

Coselete with fast cast I only use for when stun isn't at risk to be resisted, or when it's needed more often (low man, only stunner, etc)

my THF uses: TP, DEX/WS, AGI, Racc, Eva, Haste, Subtleblow, TH, Regen/+movement sets. combined with more than one ammo type, food, ninjutsu tools, Im pretty much maxed with 70 invo.

I can only leave my MH on NIN in one of 2 modes: DD/solo or HNM tank

HNM tank(inbeforelul): emnity, haste, physical reduction, magic reduction, Eva, HP, Regen/+move builds

DD: TP, WS, (with some different ones dependant on day/night), Eva, Ninjutsu, and I'm working on a shinobi ring proc set.

NIN is easilly the most gear intensive of my jobs from what i've discovered.

Cor would be pretty bad if i bothered with full Staves/cards/obi sets, but I dont care for it enough.

not really that much changed for different weapon or WS, turban stays neck changes to love torque if no ancient, brutal stays, hollow stays, haub(whatever kind) stays, dusk/+1 stay, rajas stays, blitz stays, cuch might be swapped for cerb+1, vbelt stays, haidate stay, dusk+1 might be switched for aurum

if you have inventory issues on a melee, you're making poor decisions on what to carry rly..

I was actually referring to this, although I am seriously thinking about getting a fast cast/m. acc Neuvo for DRK, I can't think of anything else to get that stands out like that.

Ok, I've never been quite sure how dark magic works but that makes the choice pretty obvious.

oils/powders/food go in your satchel, i carry full pdt mdt in addition to normal sets on WAR and am still nowhere near full.. care to list your inventory people claiming they get near cap on melee? 3 weapons + pole grip + sword strap, 2 ammos = 7 for top row ... 12 pieces of tp gear, 12 pieces of ws gear, say 10 pieces that get swapped in for varying acc or different WS(majority of gear is shared though = 41. PDT set is shadow mantle, DST+1/arhats for 5 main slots, jelly/patronus = 8 more, 49. MDT is coral+1 or gavial for SAM on 5 main slots, mermans x4, lieutenant's sash, resentment if you want, 11 more, 60 spaces. Realistically, what else do you need? One stack of opened shihei, DRK can get 9 more pieces of dark magic gear(af+1 hat, dark torque, dark earring(abyssal counts as tp gear if you have it), loq earring, whands, omega/balrahns, merciful, velocious counts as tp gear, relic legs, homam feet count as tp gear) putting them at 70. Add blood legs for DRK or augmented ASA pants for SAM and you're still only looking at 71 for DRK or 62 for SAM :\.. there just isn't enough stuff you can hold to justify having space issues on a melee.

Differing builds for Aggressor up/down, differing builds for which weapon you are using (great axe, sword/sword, axe/sword, axe/kc if you are Zhi, etc) All of these, while may be trivial (1-2 pieces each) still add up in the long run.

AND STILL NOT COUNTING MY AMAZING ENMITY BUILD +12 pieces!
