Nvidia 8x driver question.

My video card is a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS and I have been very paranoid of updating my drivers in the past 2 years (Version I have installed is 7.15.11.6917) due to how infamous most driver versions were for making FFXI's framerate total crap reguardless of what you do. However my friend claims that issue is now resolved and I shouldn't have to worry about framerate issues of that matter anymore. So I was curious if anyone can confirm or deny that. Thanks in advance for the help.

I used the 185.xx drivers and I can keep a pretty steady 29.4, except I have a much powerful card, the gtx 260. I guess I can plug in my old 8400 gs to test and see if no one else has any other info, but maybe later :3

Thanks a ton, guess I'll be updating tonight. Hopefully it'll fix my texture clipping issue as well.
