I've managed to collect a tonne of 1 and 2euroc pieces which are COMPLETELY USELESS. Like seriously, no vending machine takes them, and like I could be arsed to count out that fine grain of change when I'm buying things (also because half the time I don't know exactly what the amount is anyway, cos my French number comprehension is still getting there)

So, Spam, what should I do with them?

2 EU pieces are very nice when you pull change out of your pocket and thought you didnt have that much money then you count it up and you have 13 bux.

Usually try to offload them when I can pay for something exactly. Like a snackbar, bookstore or such. 5.30 for three drinks? here's a 5€ note, 20 cent coin and another 10 in ones and twos. They get real annoying once they start to pile up though. Bank is probably a good bet in that case
The stores with .99 cents, or worse "hay we're the cheapest!" .98 or .97 cents prices piss me the fuck off. Everyone hates those useless coins, there was talk of eliminating the ones and twos last year, but I don't think it got passed. :/
