So yeah it's time for me to vent... back in Jan the website I work for did a full redesign including recoding all the pages with updated graphic/text ad servicing and whatnot, and as a result all the new page links were completely different from the old ones, though the old page links stayed active as a reference point for the search engines.

Well I just found out today that not only are the old pages not set up to redirect the search engines to the newer corresponding page (which is killing our google rankings and causing our customers to say they get no traffic from us), but the graphic ads only appear on the newer pages while Google directs everyone to the old pages. So no one's seeing the damn ads.

So now our idiot webmaster, who was supposed to make sure all this wasn't happening NINE MONTHS AGO, is telling me to send him a list of the new pages and their corresponding old pages so that he can set up a redirect bot for each page of the website. Considering we have like 15 different domains with at least a hundred pages set up for each, I'll probably be doing this until NEXT January.
