- Penta has 1fTP if I remember correctly

Roughly 10% fTP increase v 5DEX for a 25% DEX mod. Someone else can vouch for this though.

Question on PLD macro sets in general. Anyone have some good ones compiled on FFXIah?

I am most interested what people idle in (non-atonement, atonement spam obviously haste and acc...).

Obv if the mob is a insta cast type you idle in mermans rings (shadow ring) over pdt rings and merman earring over locq.

For some fucking reason I didn't have my heavy gauntlets on in that pic either so include those >.>


Standing still getting hit? Shield gear if it's blockable otherwise you want pdt-% or mdt-% based on, again, mob type.

RDM can easily, not so sure on COR as it'd be a rather long fight and not sure you have an extended area of safety to do it in.

I assume for RDM its your basic, RDM/NIN, grav, bind, DOT, kite, nuke when you can type fight?

Is there a certain area to pull it to and fight?

Yes both can even solo the Greater ones in Xarc S.

I use locq just to balance out my max mp really. Not many other good earring choices unless I didn't care about excessive mp loss from macro switching in which case Cassie would be an option. I can't really think of any other good earrings atm to idle in >.>

No reason to idle in haste for, as you mention, "recast" since you should be macroing that stuff in for casting and not standing around in it. Unless of course you are still tp'ing for atonement but you said barring atonement, so yeah.

Same, certain swaps kill a lot of MP that I try to avoid(Ichi in particular, I toss in BQ/Serket to try to even out the MP loss from taking off Turban/Homam Legs & Feet. I've been meaning to also add a bit to my spellcast that doesn't bother with that if I'm below a certain MP but I've been kinda lazy on it. Really the only other viable non-Ethereal idle earrings are Merman's, and they aren't a big enough %/I don't get hit with straight magic damage enough to warrant it.

I tend to idle in Ethereal/Buckler if I'm blood tanking something that's blockable, I figure the extra 3 Shield Skill beats 30MP when I shouldn't be at max MP anyway.
