According to wiki, PLD/DNC can slaughter it and I'd imagine RDM can too. THF has trouble with casters ;x

Anyone who takes THF seriously have a good spellcast for it they can point me to? and thanks Raen for answering the previous question.
Is 1/tick Sanction Refresh enough to keep Rune Chopper active fulltime?
Next: anyone know if there are any Haste+2 RDM feet you can get aside from Dusk via ANNM or anything?
Ah right, forgot about those, and that RDM could even wear them, thanks.
Is it possible to straight tank solo Amikiri on RDM?
Yah, so long as you're careful about TP moves (it has high Store TP, so when you apply Bio or if it hits you, it's going to TP move after every 4 casts or so (iirc)). This means if you take a hit it can then Death Scissors you straight out :D
The hardest part of this fight would be the patience to straight tank it that long though. The thing seriously lasts forever!
That would be the biggest waste of shihei. lol
Since I'm in the process of leveling WAR and am looking toward future builds I figure I will ask this here. I do not yet have a Cuchulain's mantle, but I did get quite lucky on an appraisal and got an Aileron mantle. Am I right to presume that for the time being before I can purchase a Cuchulain's mantle I should TP in Aileron over Forager's? Reason why I ask is I am unsure if +6 Acc is worth it to sacrifice +3 STR and +15 ATTK? Especially when I was under the impression Cuchulain's while in fact superior to Forager's is so only because of the STR and DEX in addition to ACC on Cuchulain's?
Spoiler: show
Edit: Sorry to Mod I totally thought I had posted this in the "What's Better?" thread. Posting there now since I would expect a better response from that thread.
I had thought about that, but since i wont have any katana-merits i figured i would have to use Usukane body in most situations. And a few of the situations where i dont, i could get away with Af1+1? Just seems like such a small window to use it in. And for BLU im guessing most of the time i would want a refresh body.
This is what im mostly leaning towards. Maybe not with enmity, but fast cast atleast, for blu, mnk and nin.
Yeah, i dont think it would do much for blm, and i dont see myself lvling any petjobs or ranged jobs. It'll probably be a fastcast piece for MNK, NIN, BLU. I just dont know what other stat to put on.
1MP/tic Refresh can keep Rune Chopper active 100% of the time right? So there's no need to ask for refresh when meriting or doing Einherjar?
Does having a higher skill level on a weapon effect how often parry will proc/skillup?
Friend of mine says he read this somewhere, and it kind of makes since, since I will parry more on nin when I am soloing, vs. actually tanking with a staff out. Also, my best skillups to date have been soloing sharks in sea
I think I remember that this isn't true. Iirc, someone worked out that for some reason it's active every other tick on KI Warrior forums maybe two years ago. I believe that logic might have been based on BST's Rune Axe + Gaudy Harness combo, where you get 5HP every two ticks.

This would mean that it'd work out to an effective 4.5% Haste if you were 9% or more from cap, 3% Haste if you were 6% from cap, etc.
When you are tanking things, they are a higher level, thus you parry more. Think of parrying like evasion. Do you evade as much when tanking with a staff as you do with soloing? The higher the level, the less chance of parry, the lower the level, the more chance.
Or I could be totally wrong and will get bashed to all high hell, thats just what I thought. So no, weapon skill does not effect parry, only parry skill.
ftfy, etc.
You had the right idea but wrote part of it backwards. I'm not sure there have been any tests done with 2H vs. 1H vs. 2x 1H weapons as far as Parrying proc rate goes, but I'm inclined to believe that they're equivalent and that weapon skill has little to nothing to do with it.
