What would be the best way to do campaign on a BRD73? Not sure what bards do in campaign since the songs patch

I personally just melee tbh. You can solo mobs but it's difficult to prevent people from ganging up on your mob and essentially negating the 1~2k exp you'd have got if it had actually looked at you.
My dagger skill is under 200 though so if i capped it and got evisceration or mordant rime I could probably do much better for points than i currently do.
NMs don't seem to resist threnodies until the 5th time per song either so spam those on NMs if you can.
When fighting a NM wear dmg reduction and regen gear while singing paeons. Your purpose there is to soak up as much damage as possible for points since you wont hit the nm very hard and those nms deal out retarded damage so you want some other guy to be tanking em anyway.

We attempted a Horns of War trio today and apparently didn't find enough information on it to be adequately prepared >_> So I have a few questions which I wasn't able to find the answers to.

Is it normal for it to spam Thunderbolt back to back (2-3 times in a row), or did we just get really unlucky?

Is it possible to Stun Chlevnik? If so, does skill make a difference (i.e. do you need to be BLM to land it with any consistency or would RDM/DRK suffice)?

Have there been any edits to the BC since most videos of it were made (10 months or more ago)?

Last of all, what would be the most viable setup for a trio?

I know the kiting path for the north 3f map is around the hole at G-6. As for southern 3f map I did remember seeing a wall that didn't seem to have any empty around it at the time, is that the kite path?

Late response but I just did this, solo'd Satiator on southern part of 3f map at G-13 wall. Few notes:

• Clear the MR if it's up near there
• Bring Remedies, Regen drinks, Potions, Reraise Earring, Sushi
• Only used one stack of Holy Bolts
• Trotter Boots were a must
• Cast Utsusemi or use food/drinks/potions/remedies when you're sure it won't catch up
• Use Sharpshot, your TP, and Barrage!
• Died on the pull @ kiting area, reraised after it moved away and was able to kite it weakened

May not be solo/duo, but THF BLM/NINx2.

THF kites around the pillar (outside of Promy Vahzl). BLMs time nuke with Freeze and cast separate DoTs so it wouldn't heal when THF needed to zone. If we couldn't freeze. just nuke with other nukes. Make sure to pay attention when it does it's stupid blink move. Can sleep it if needed as well.

bio2 + poison 2 > die > reraise as RDM/NIN. Very easy just consumes like 15 reraise charges maybe. Poison resists a lot ( in duration) but does a lot of dmg, while bio does shit dmg but always lands for full length. You want to bring a few ethers just in case. Might be possible on BLM but you'll have resists. THe NM depops 3 minutes after iddling, and poison/bio last 2 minute.

You want TH2 though.
