I liked the haste, as I recall going 4% > 5% dropped a second off flash, and at 50 you lose at most 5 or 6 def from the other options til 60~.

Faster swings = more vorpals = more hate and faster kills.

I soloed mostly though, Pld does not belong in a party.

I did actually, and found it pretty helpful indeed; thanks for the link. But a bit like Sath, getting over "no aggressor merits" proved to be a bit of a mental hurdle. I've no problem admiting that my thinking on warrior needs re-evaluating though, and I've already started re-working my merits because of this.

OK, maybe I have been spending too much time on FFXIAH forums and lowered my expectations of people.

I have used a dumpy spell to echo TP return, but never made any rules based on that (mainly as I don't have anything to macro in).

If you get hit just after the WS the TP return will be wrong (which is fine for your application) but I used it to monitor my accuracy which obviously relies on an accurate TP value.

WAR AFv2 belt is better than Warwolf for KJ. You can use alkys with nhead if you have full merits + aggressor on birds and if using pizza elsewhere.

HQ your heca. Cerb +1 will keep you at capped WS ACC during everything if you have full merits, alternate pizza / meat for events.

Aside from that besides max's rings being backwards everything else is right.

Oh yeah! I forgot War stone, that is an AWESOME piece for KJ, replace Warwolf with that any time I am not talking about RR (where I'm a Dex whore).

Sath is wrong about the rings, my order is correct, risk of dicks touching, etc.

Uh, well, not really. Not just STR but attack, too, is important. Even more important? ACC. If you're talking about capped ACC:

STR+4 WS+2% hat/Gorget/Brutal/Triumph w/ augmented ATK
Ares/Alky/Flame w/ ATK x2
Cerb+1/Warwolf w/ ATK/Heca +1/Heca+1

Not sure about Heca+1 sub vs. Hachiryu. Anyway, going from here, make the most efficient ACC-swaps (for instance, Ares hands for Alky to gain like 16 ACC) until you cap ACC.

Normally I agree with you but that set sucks balls. Plain and simple.

Don't use KJ if you don't have berserk up. Don't use KJ if you don't have minuet or chaos roll. It's a pretty simple rule. No amount of gear you stack will make KJ even come close to RR when unbuffed.

Okay, Relic WAR go!

So I've heard good things about Aurum Cuirass for a relic WAR 6-hit build. However, if I look at a Brutal/Rajas/Aurum 6-hit, I have it losing the 6-hit if it takes off Aurum for WS.
13.2*1.21 = 15.9
13.2*1.28*5 = 84
Total = 99.9TP
Body/Sub/Ranged: Aurum Cuirass - 15 Atk, 8 Dex/Str, STP / Pole Strap - 2% DA / Fire Bomblet - 6 Acc/Atk

Did I do my math wrong, or is Aurum Cuirass insufficient unless you wear more STP than Rajas+Brutal during WS?


Alternatively, you could use Rose Strap and White Tathlum, then swap White Tathlum for something else during WS and be fine.

With capped ACC you can just TP and WS in Askar body IIRC for max result. For uncapped ACC it's a matter of how uncapped your ACC exactly is.

Askar body is a non-ideal choice for WS, but I suppose Rose Strap is too.
145 with 26% DA vs. 150 STR with 24% DA
D190 with 26% DA vs. D192 with 24% DA
2.85*.95*190 + .26*.95*190 = 561.355
2.85*.95*192 + .24*.95*192 = 563.616

Edit: I don't know why I choose a 5 STR difference. In a capped Acc situation you'd use Ares's Cuirass for Metatron. Still, point stands and I don't feel like redoing it >.>;;

Aurum for WS isn't the worst choice in the world tbh. You could do far worse.
