    So I'm looking at War in thr future, and have Askar head/hands and aurum feet looking pretty on mannequin. I'm unsure what Mithra war's base dex is at 75, but my drg/sam has 72 naked, so it can't be far off that right?

    But I'm wondering if:
    Askar, PCC, Pixie, Brutal
    Haub/+1, Askar, Thunder, Rajas
    Amem+1, Swift, Haiadate, Aurum

    Would beat out:
    Turban, PCC, Assault, Brutal
    Haub/+1, Dusk, Sniper's, Rajas
    Amem+1, Swift, Haiadate, Aurum

    (I'm unsure how much STP byakko/perdu needs, would brutal+rose strap be enough?)

    Anyway, the alla character maker thing is telling me mithra have 76/75 dex with /nin and /sam. In that case, you can remove the Thunder ring for a sniper's and hit 117dex.
    You could also remove pixie and am+1 for assault and cuch (although I don't have a cuch..) for an even better set,

    Either way, would these dex setups beat out the normal turban/dusk setup mentioned above?
    Obviously this is just for merits, but it seems like a reletively small sacrifice for capped dex>crit.

    Brutal/Rajas is enough.

    Use turban/dusk setup. Grab a blitz ring and a cuchulain's, too. Mithra DEX is 75, 80 merited (WAR/SAM at 75). Grab a Fowling earring too, by the way. Hollow if you don't have Ethereal.

    Under aggressor you can swap to pixie.

    Only if you land at least 2 hits of KJ/RR. If you use Steel Cyclone or only one hit lands, you'll end up at 99 tp. It's not often it happens, but it's a small point worth making (if only because I'm pedantic).

    Derp, how often do land the first hit and at least one other at 95% hit rate? Uh, close enough to 95% "of the time" so who cares. At 80% hit rate? (Hint: higher than 80% for the vast majority of cases.) SC is just common sense, pedant.

    .95*.95 = .9025 = 90.25% chance of hitting twice (note: that obviously ignores the third hit, but I fail to see how it would lower the chance)

The only question I really have after doing all the research is has any of the newer campaign gear made an X hit combo much more easily attainable or feasible with /war compared to the previous /sam only because too many slots were sacraficed?     On annihilator, I see /war for big epeen averages, but I think /sam does the better overall damage and lower hate.

    If you need the racc from legs / finger (not a small consideration on HNMs, but certainly not the case with every mobs), the tp gear needed to make 5-hit on /war does not win over /sam.

    /sam with better job traits /abilities and better gear beats /war in situations where racc is heavily needed. Zergs would want /war. Kited would want /sam. At least seems that way to me.

    Still /war seems fun and math seems pretty close.

    The "true" six-hit is still a valid argument given Greater Colibri like to spam you with Feather Tickle. You should have an Askar Korazin (or Aurum Cuirass) just in case for situations like that, where you don't need the extra accuracy.

    Orz I forgot about that TP thing.... the point is that yes, it's a very high percentage of it not mattering in the slightest that you'll be 1 TP short if you don't get two hits

    so the 9% crit, taking you to 117 cap on colibri is definitely going to be worse than the 2% haste you've lost from switching out turban+dusk? (obv some other changes too with att/acc/str, but this is the main point i wanna look at).

    I know "lolcrit builds" but it really doesn't sacrifice much if you were to go pcc, assault/fowling, brutal, haub/+1, iota, rajas, cuch, swift/vbelt, haiadate aurum sabatons.
    The only chnage you'd make then would be turban/dusk>askar/askar.

    Wouldn't even need zucchetto or iota with adaberk.

    Just curious, not sure if this type of question should go here or not.

    If your account is stolen by lets say RMT or something of that sort, when you're getting it rolled back do you need the registration codes? I'm saying absolutely need them, not does it make it easier to have them

    Does anyone have a torrent or know a download link to just POL and WotG? I'm on an old computer temporarily cause Nvidia fails and am missing just those discs and need to reinstall =/

    alright so not to drag this on at all, but I'm thinking this is likely the best gearset for excal rdm

    Skill (Merits) + DRG ACC Trait (10) + Composure (15?) = 284 ACC without gear or DEX.

    Using Taru DEX (63) + DEX from gear, you have a total of 71 DEX which is equal to 35 ACC when floored.

    At this point, you have 319 ACC. Add in the 45 ACC from your set and it's 364 ACC. For something such as Colibri, you need 407 ACC. With Sushi, you're at 370 ACC. So in short, it's 37 ACC from cap using just colibri.
