Correct, it's 21 hours later. No different than if you cast a 30min buff @ 1:50AM this morning, it doesn't suddenly last 1hr and 30min. ;p

How do I Pankration?

I'm trying to start up doing some ZNMs but buying NQ cameras for 2 jettons is a real bottleneck to building up Zeni.

I was under the impression people who do ZNM a lot funded it with pankration monsters earning them jettons, is this even true or do most peole just throw imperial coins at it? I registered a dark elemental yesterday but just got impatient about the wait to start a battle and the fact my pet always gets completely dominated (whilst i write this it managed to take 9% of a hecteyes' life before dying <.<) and then afterwards i earn 5 jettons (and it costs 1 to enter for a fight) and 5 xp when i think it takes 200 xp per level so I can't really see any light at the end of the tunnel for my useless pokemon?

Amidoingitwrong (i hope i am)? Do people just get their jettons via imperial pieces? Or are people masochistic enough to take 12 pictures at a time before having to return to whitegate?

I'd assume people buy coins. As for the "masochistic enough", etc...I dunno about everyone else, but I don't see how that's masochistic. For 1, I operate on at most 20 open inventory slots at a time between all my jobs (max inventory, storage, satchel, safe and locker), and keeping extra plates for multiple hours sounds awful. Past that, the speed increase on the better one saves you what, 6minutes at most per set of pictures?

To reiterate:

There are 2 ways to get a ton of Jettons. Either keep making level 1 mobs and keep sending them in diabolos cage until they stop giving you the max jettons. The other way is to attempt to make a strong mob that can win for multiple rounds at a time. Either of these will give you a lot of jettons.

As for the inv space, Ive always just done the Dbox trick and gone out with the minimal gear to take pictures with. I can usually get 50 open slots which is more than enough.

I dump misc gear on my mule account, then take 36 pictures on each char(amounts to half of a HQ soultrapper, a NQ, and 3 stacks of plates). I turn them in over time while doing something outside of FFXI(or visit town once an hr). More related to original question, I just buy goldpieces.

Personally I'd rather stick stuff I'm not going to need in my delivery box to make a good amount of space, get a decent amount of pictures (no alt accounts available) at once then like Thorny said; afk near sanraku and turn 10 in per hour.

I find that slightly less tedious than getting 12 pictures with an NQ, having to go back to the Colosseum for another camera, back to the mob etc etc.

Guess there is just no way around the fact gathering pictures is annoying as fuck lol

What mobs do people farm? I read that limbus euvhis were a consistent ~70/pic and they would be pretty easy to get to/from quickly

If its a good zeni mob just go after the real one. If not head to sea.

Even lv 1 characters can make zeni as well so you could have the low level mules pop t1~2 mobs for you as well. 10 plates per rl day to each character and you can triple your zeni per day with just 2 mules.

Yes, they can. All hits can, a hit that comes from the offhand weapon can too for instance.

if your ls does faf, a mule with 60 spots can earn 6k points every faf. even at high percentages faf pics rarely go below 100
