I am looking to add tiered enfeebles to my rdm xml.
At the moment I have a full skill + INT set (for sleeps, gravity, bind etc), a full skill + MND set (for silence and para/slow on resistive mobs) and a potent MND set (for para II and slow II).
I currently have it set up like aikar's BLM template, so when I cast slow/para it check if it is a mob on the resistive list (most I have listed most HNMs and high end NMs), if it is I use the full skill sets, other wise it uses the potent set.
I have it set up so if ES is active then I use the potent no mater what the target is.
And finally I set it up so that it uses full potency on the Nyzul bosses as they are a joke to enfeeble.
The question is; have i missed anything?
I haven't got any tiered INT based sets as I rarely use blind and see no point in building a potent set for it, but I could build sets for different levels of INT to guarantee I always have dINT>10, but thought that would be unnecessary. (?)
My high skill sets has ~110-115 INT (depending on sub, I forget the exact value) with 332 skill (and 8 m.acc) so it works on a lot of every day mobs.
So is there any other situations/gearsets I should be aiming to cover?
If NPC does nothing, it's certainly solo
I just make mental distinctions between solo and duo+, if it's something I know could be soloed easily (not with luck, besides luck based things like Seiryu and spamming Dread Shriek, some things just aren't going your way sometimes) and the extra people is just speeding things up, that's closer to a solo than if you were to dual box and kill something that wouldn't be normally soloed, still not a solo on that kill, but closer than it could be
What's the lowest level you can start to make decent XP in campaign?
Currently Lv44 DRK/DNC soloing and FoVing, wondering if I can do Campaign around 50+ for better xp/hr solo.
Valor Surcoat: Does the damage to MP conversion take place from any damage when Cover is active, or is strictly damage from a "Cover!" attack?
Cover!
what do people farm zeni on? (aside from mob of the day)
Euvhi's in Al'Taieu, any teleport works. Pics always give 64-66 points so they are a good mob to get pics off anytime the mob being asked is a bitch or harder to get to. The only problem is they rage and depending on your enfeebling skill and such it may start resisting your sleeps and hit for up to 1k damage :3, so if you are taking over 30 pictures in a single character it will be good to finish that flower and find a new one.
Questions on Ifrit's Bow.
First, does it only apply to ranged attacks from the bow or all melee hits?
Second, does anyone know the increase amount?
As far as I know, no one has figured it out.
It's hard to do an extended test with Ifrit's Bow, because obviously you need to 1) have the bow and 2) have Ifrit summoned the whole time. Would be hot if someone could do it though.
WHM/SMN, Avatar Belt, Fire Staff, Noble's (-2, -2, -1, -1 from JT) = Free Ifrit?
Then have a second player parse it overnight on Hpmedes like the guys in the Critical Hit thread and compare it to their point?
my bst is about to hit 75, and i'm wondering what an acceptable body piece for charm is, if i don't have an osode. until now, i've been using gaudy harness or beast jackcoat. have +42 chr with harness on, but rarely keep pets long enough ot make use of +charm on jackcoat, so i usually go with harness. anything else i should pick up before i get an osode/monster coat?

Plantiods get an advantage over beasts as far as I recall~ The advantage only happend to the target of the TP move. If the tiger were to have taken 1% increase in damage (1000*1.01)/4, it would floor to 252 damage, leaving the rest to take 252 damage. If you're able to repeat it, I'd make the speculation that maybe killer traits or weakness give a 1% boost in damage. Would be worth having someone with Plantoid Earring or something that gives beast affinity try it =p
I was soloing Jailer of Fortitude on COR earlier for a friend and noticed something I haven't seen before with Quick Draw. Since it was dark day, I just stuck with going in ele wheel, but started using thunder shot a bit more often.
The damage went like this:
376 > 376 > 376 > 376 > 416 > 376 > 376
Any reason why it did a odd 416 out of the normal 376?
