i'm gonna type this in code because of where I am, but country-x would never report they lost money in the entire process, which they undoubtedly did with all of the projects they started and completed in such a short time which was funded by nobody other than the gov. This was country-x's only time to show the world they aren't as bad as the world thinks they are - they didn't care what the expense was (monetary or other). Also, what AV said.

I'm not taking sides on the obama argument because I really don't care where the olympics are, but trusting country-x's gov is loooool
