I don't know why you guys think Starr is good at gear choices. Most of the time he is just a bandwagon preaching what has already been stated. He doesn't do the math for anything. He demands the math only when it helps his case. And quite frankly, it's kind of repulsive how it's like he's TRYING to be a math person, except without actually doing the math. For example, he would often preach Zahak's mail for Drakesbane to people who would benefit more from Aurum than from Zahaks. In short, he doesn't actually know the best set up for gear unless someone tells him directly which he then preaches religiously while attacking those who don't conform (It's funny because it sounds EXACTLY same as religious warfare).

Clearly Therin has what will make the game interesting, and starr wants it badly....
