The Mist was brilliant on the levels of fuckedupedness it went to and avoiding the route of a cheesy dick ending like most Hollywood efforts end up doing. Proper dark cinema at its finest.

I agree with Hirokei, The Mist sucked because of the ending. I didn't like how John Carpenter directed that movie...I like his Transformers movies though.
