If you play WoW, you have to deal with this type of shit in trade and general. Hope you enjoy the game.

o, ok
I think leveling any class to 15 is enough to determine whether you like that class or not and intend to play it for another 65 levels. Basically if you aren't enjoying it at 15, chances are you won't like it at 20 or 30 either.
Now you guys get back to your argument.
Moron? I didn't say you needed to level a class to level 80 to get a feel of what the class is like at 80. I said that at level 15 you have no feeling of what the class is like at 80. Feral druids don't even have fucking cat form.
E.g.
You'll be drinking at level 15 mage whereas at level 80, your mana regeneration ability is Evocation.
You'll be using bear form at level 15 whereas at level 80, you only use Cat form for dps.
You won't have any mana regeneration ability as a level 15 Hunter, whereas at level 80 you'll use AotV when you need mana.
All three of which get those abilities at level 20. Hell, hunter from 1-20 is pretty much Hunter's Mark > attack till dead, which is nothing like what you'll do as a Hunter at level 80. Once you get AotV you can start using Arcane Shot/Serpent Sting/traps/etc, because you don't run out of mana so quickly.
The only basic concept you'll get is what range you're attacking from. I fucking hate melee classes at 80 but while leveling you can't actually tell what they'll be like when you have movement to consider. I prefer to focus on standing in the right position than focusing on standing in the right position while in range and behind the boss. Leveling to 15 won't tell you that, someone posting here will. The main reason so many people suggest Druid is because it doesn't have this issue, you can play as Healer, Tank, melee dps AND ranged dps whereas a Warrior=melee and a Mage=ranged.
Guess what, people are allowed opinions and being an asshole isn't going to change mine.
Unfortunately, that isn't how it always works. I enjoyed leveling as a Ret Paladin until I had Divine Storm/Crusader Strike, after that I realised I don't particularly enjoy their FCFS style "rotation". I do however enjoy Holy, which would have been even more of a pain in the ass to level as.I think the point trying to be made is that a lot of people can judge if they'll like a class or not just from the basic flow of it.
Play a hunter, they're the best imo.
I was never able to get into any other class, except maybe druid. Although I never had as much fun on my druid as I did on my hunter.
Granted, the last time I played was about a year ago, so maybe things would be different by now.
Elem shaman is pretty much easymode. It's like 3 buttons. How hard can that be?
QQ l2play etc
Except that's not really true and your over exaggerating your point.
He's never played the game, all I've meant is that it might be a good idea for him to get a feel for melee vs caster vs pet class. You can do that in 15 levels. I promise.
Continue to jump my shit for throwing out an idea to help, it's fucking hilarious, I can't believe you guys are so worked up over a suggestion.
Alright everyone, go to your corners before I have to get the belt out.
It'll be a miracle that the OP ends up playing WoW at all with all the bickering you guys are doing. Then again its no different than listening to the trade channel in cities so it might prepare him for what he has to look forward to.
Bottom line, try what you want, however long you want. If you dont like it, try another job.
QFT... I got a friend to try the game and got my hunter from 8 to 14 in about 10 secs of my friend granting me 6 lvls cause he had gotten to lvl12 already.
A little off topic, but still related to newbie-ness. Me and a friend want to start fresh and a new (US) PvP server. Looking for a highly populated and active one. Any recommendations? We were horde on boulderfist before, want to try alliance for once.
Someone figured out that the game preserves your TNL when the RaF friend grants levels to the Veteranl friend's accounts, so basically he did the math on how much exp you gain discovering Dark Portal in blasted lands, brought up a level 1 toon so that discovering it would put him at 1% away from level 2, then used his RaF's friends various toons to grant him the 60 levels (30 levels max per toon), then turned in one quest in outlands to push him to 61. He seems to use 2 friends: hunter friend to PL most of the 1st exp bar, then the mage/lock friend's RaF'd account to grant all the levels.
Unfortunately the process isn't symmetric, only the RaF'd account can grant levels, but it sure is hell a nice way to fill out your alts on a realm to 60.
lol wow
