Need ps3 game suggestions!

Aside from Metal Gear Solid 4, i'm not sure what other games (new and old) i should try out (buy or rent). What do you guys suggest i try? I generally play RPGs and shooters. I can also make an attempt at fightan gaman.

I would add a few future things to that list, gow of war collection, Assassin's Creed 2, Dragon Age origins, Uncharted 2, borderlands(pending) and COD MW 2. That list covers everything that is out tho and my list doesnt include the exciting spring we have in store.

by "shooter" do you mean Fallout3/Oblivion and by rpg do you mean a fake genre that doesn't exist?

I would remove the orange box from that list. If you want those games you are better off getting them for the PC.
I would also add Dirt to the list of racing games and Megaman to the action/adventure list.

Hmm, thus far i think in the inmediate future i might be going for fallout3 (aside from msg4), fallout is what exactly? Usual rpg elements, shotam gaem, something else? Would fallout 3 be worth buying or renting?

as much as i love fallout 3 I must say the game still full of fucking glitches,damn thing likes to freeze a lot. I would say rent before buying.

Fallout 3 is a buyer and your in luck the GOTY edition comes out wed. It is an RPG with FPS elements, the vats system you use for combat makes it fun, big on exploration and item gathering.

I spent around 200-300 hours on this game before the DLC came out, just exploring and what not, and I never had any glitch problems at all or had it freeze on me, so unsure about others on that one.
