Fucking maintenance in UK primetime, same shit with FFXI. They have EU/US specific servers, why cant they jsut take the EU ones down earlier than the US ones? It is really so hard?

When was maint? I got home at 5pm, and on FFXI that's when maint would usually start, but on Aion I spent 1min updating and was on playing fine.

Maint occured around 4 AM PDT, which would have been around noon GMT? It lasted 3 hours, so it wouldn't really count as prime time.

I heard that full DP will help in HQing crafts, no idea if its valid or a random FFXI-esque rumor. Personally I havnt seen it work, but then again I only craft 1-5 tries a day at most, I dont have cash to blow.

Divine Points begin to accumulate after a player has reached level 10 and become a Daeva. Players earn divine points for each creature killed and can fill the DP bar three times.



Once you have earned a minimum of 2000 DP, you can use your first Divine Skill. You can obtain other Divine Skills as you progress which will require higher DP amounts. These skills are different for each class.With accumulated DP, you may even find that your regular skills have more of an edge to them.



All accumulated DP is lost upon the player’s death and when you logout.

I'm sorry but where does it say having max DP increases your crafting chance? I'm not usually one to argue but I myself tend to read "your regular skills may have more of an edge to them" applies to your 'regular skills' only. I have crafted multiple times at max DP and it seems random to me. Yea I may have gone 3/5 while having max DP but I've also gone 4/8 with no DP at all.

I agree with Kerb on this one. Face west during a full moon while crafting with a water crystal increases your chance of HQ!

Gotta say since I was gifted a bunch of 24-sec flight pots and have since started to make the 12-sec ones, I've been using them a lot more and they're SO damn awesome when aether gathering!!
