one of our good chanters got a 72 hour ban yesterday for swearing. someone reported him for saying "ncsoft doesn't do shit about botters" in general or something, so they checked all of his logs and used things he said in legion chat against him (you know the usual things we all say like fuck this templar, this guys an asshat, etc) and issued a 72 hr ban.

really ncsoft

now he was sorta asking for it, yes, by saying ncsoft doesnt do shit. but 72 hour is going way overboard. 24 hour ok. and things you say in legion chat should never be used against you. and for people who report others who swear in general, isn't that the purpose of the language filter?

It's in like the first tab of the options menu.

I got banned for 72 hours for swearing in FFXI once. They didn't buy the "but there's a swear filter" defense in that game, either.

Either way, using legion chat against you isn't really fair. If they saw blue garter's language, our whole guild would be permabanned for racism and terrible language.

Our legion chat is pretty bad as well, but our vent chatter will land you in a federal prison in most states.

Man so I hate these lv.25 noobs in the desert who see you fighting andre and run up and start attacking. Once they die or decide to peace out, Andre chases them across the desert, and in our case today, they got guards on him which caused us to not get loot.

Ugh, I hate those WoW noobs that stand by the zombies when I'm soloing and ask if we can team up. --; And if I ignore them, they accuse me of being a bot or a RMT farming.

30+ bots at Balaur spawns in Belusian. Can't even get credit for kills because they are in groups of 2/3 and rush any spawn as soon as its up....so fucking retarded. Not to mention gathering bots stealing nodes while im gathering from them and bots in the ghost area of Belusian too...shit is getting annoying.

Fucking Elyos orange wpn quest is 41...Asmo is 43...fucking game needs to be more 1 sided with quests/drops.

Also Steel Rake is boring as shit and worthless, 5-6hr instance with bosses not dropping shit at times.

asmos have to kill some normal mobs and a single lv35 elite

Elyos have to enter a lv38-40 ELITE area fight our way in a high density area just to kill 3 boxes (oh yeah and cloaked elites) only two ways into that area both are choke points were multiple asmos are soloing, good fun. Atleast the asmo quest is fucking nice enough to say "group" while the elyos one makes you believe it's a solo quest.

(that's for the same attack speed title and the respective quest)

people will always bitch and cry that the other side has it "easier"

Elyos get guards by the drakenwreck, asmos get non-elite balaurs to kill in beluslan
asmos have guards next to ruins of roah and closest guards to the lv34ish baluar island in upper abyss
elyos have easier access to the elm NPC in lower abyss for quest asmos get balaur on their starter island for farming balaur items, elyos get shitty skeletons that drop dick shit.
asmodians get guards relatively close to (and often use said guards to help kill 2 upper abyss NMs) Queen Klawtinel and Henchmen Laden, elyos get set of guards close to Captain Lohbri, and she fucking wrecks those guards like nothing (aka: their no help)
Elyos get earlier gold weapon quest, asmos get easier gold weapon quest: asmodians can completely run and hide in storm circle and nothing there will aggro semmly aggro them at all. the Beluslan equivlant (from my undestanding) will kill elyos and asmodians, totally fair.
