Aion: Random Complaint Thread.

Not sure if this is best place to ask perhaps shoulda started new topic but problem is annoying as hell.

Anyone else get graphic error that seems almost like artifacting? It has been happening since the last update. Thought at 1st it was my video card overheating but its steady 50-60(usually around 54C) under load.

Is anyone else going through this or is it perhaps just something w/ my pc?

edit: forgot to mention, when it happens i just force close game and start it back up and is 100% fine

You're a fucking joke, seriously. I grinded those balaur for 40 million exp straight and got about 150k in balic mats.

I don't know what it's like for elyos on your server, but Hard Balaur Whatevers (which are what the mobs in question drop) are worth about 3k each, the major choking point on crafting expert shit is people manipulating the Flux market. Emphasis on "I don't know", because I don't trumpet around like a fucking douchebag thinking I'm the hottest shit playing Aion and know everything because I can kill lowbies clustered around an artifact.

Responding to my dismissal of Balic mats as crap money with "yeah fuck (Balic) gear" implies, to me, that you think those mats are the most important part of making said gear.

What makes Balic gear hard to make are the Berserk Wills (guess what they drop off), they're just as rare as fluxes. Worse for Elyos because we don't get non-elites to farm, but you already admitted your ignorance on the subject.

What easily farmable, non elite mobs give you are: free expert skillups (making basemats for draconic gear), more hearts (for designs) and lower mat prices. Acting like any of those isn't an advantage is silly.

Keep getting mad every time I post though, its seriously entertaining.

Free, as in, don't have to pay for the basemat which is 99% of the time more expensive than the reagent. Spending 3-500k on reagents and getting even 10 skill levels past 400 is cheap as fuck, because the alternative is grinding up on gear and having to deal with flux costs.


10k+ each, never on sale because of the huge demand.

The area is covered with bots and on my server the parts dont even sell for more then 100 kineh each.


And when I say covered in bots I mean there are 30+ bots there at any given time in groups just grinding up mobs as they spawn

At level 50 they won't even drop shit from what I can tell, isnt it a 7 lvl difference negates drops on a mob? or is it 10? Either way the drop rate is shit on them compared to the Abyss mobs. Like the lvl 39s which Elyos have a camp right next to (Its a nice spot for me to gank at)

But yeah, I haven't been able to complete any spy quests yet either. Only gone twice with an alliance but they were both pretty much fail. I might try to hit 35 and solo it instead. Other thing I heard was go into a rift, log out, log back in after the rifts are gone and pop a kisk. Worth a shot anyway.
