Spent 4hrs in Alq research Lab today....NO fucking bosses in there apparently and only 1 book dropped. The exp sucks ass as well so fuck that place, such a goddamn letdown so far in this game and its instances. They look pretty, but they are just gift wrapped shit so far.

Yest. I got Reshanta's Spellbook. Couldn't let the sorc take. The day before, I got Reshanta's Gloves and same deal, although at least I could conceivably wear them. And within that same run the Temp got Reshanta's Chain Greaves T.T but couldn't let me or the chanter take.

I'm guessing then that once you open these chests, only you can prevent forest fires.

Died on the top floor of Steel rake the boss that spawns monkies (due to Templar and Cleric d/c) we managed to get the killing blow on the boss but died before we could loot, no one could res because monkies would of instagibbed us.
So we decide to run back in with one staying (fucking lazy people), we take the boat thats never there when you need it, get ready to go back in when the guy who stayed tells us boss despawned meaning we couldnt progress as he dropped the key to carry on, making our whole run fail. Pretty annoying, and we learnt that even when you think you can kill something dont fucking bother just die.

Edit: For the record from the moment we started party he insisted on wanting lead because he knew of some special area that drops good shit, I don't think he knew what he was talking about. What the fuck is the deal with the Engineer in Steel Rake? Fighting him normal is just asking to get buttfucked, doing the side fight he glitches 1/2 the time and resets his fucking hp. Not to mention you can't melee him, and he will just randomly 1 shot someone at times.


It's fucking stupid as shit to give a boss AoE moves in a room that AoEs you and then have that fucking boss shield wall at 25% hp. JESUS GODDAMN CHRIST.



Oh and the loci rez shit clerics get is fucking worthless and causes more wipes then anything. Why do they even have it?

Yeah, I'm not touching the hard portion of my Alchemy 400 quest until I can either get more drops on my own or the prices crash. I'm sure they'll still be moderately expensive just because everyone else will need Fluxes for their particular crafts, but right now the general economy can't really tolerate like 5m+ per synth. Spending several hours a day spread between several days since level 38 trying to farm my Water Spirit III book. I'm now level 41, 9mil from 42. I have killed so many water spirits it's not funny. It seems with each spirit level, it doubles the farming time. ><

I'm stubborn and refuse to pay some PoS RMT 750k for it. Atleast it's come down from 1m.. but still. I've spent enough time out on the lake to know the names.. and that's all I see on the Broker with them.
