Aion: Random Complaint Thread.

So last night I finished farming 180 Golden Insignia's for the earring. I had the ring quest from the start but never turned it in because was saving for the earring all along. So I talk to the npc now to select the other quest... But when i click on the npc it instantly goes to quest completion sign and I am unable to select any of the other item quests. So i drop the quest in order to get the other and BAM bye bye 80 Insignia.

I make a petition and get the "we are sorry for your problem, we will do our best to resolve it for you, but please leave an email w help.ncsoft.com to hasten your petition." FUCK YOU NCsoft.

Anybody have any luck getting stuff like this fixed?

the ingame petition system doesn't work you HAVE to use the help.ncsoft.com and file the issue there.

when selecting my xenophon's weapon I picked the bow but when I clicked accept the quest log "rolled" up and I got the staff instead of the bow, I filed a petition on their official site and in 2 days a GM took the staff off my character and replaced it with the bow.

My recent trip into Steel Rake ended with a bugged Engineer (as well as 2 other named monsters, Shoryuken and a keymaster). We were unable to loot the items off these monsters and what was I given as a response from help.ncsoft.com?

"We were unable to find any instance of you attacking an NPC with the character during the approximate time you listed."

I was in there for over 3 hours and you can't find the instance of me attacking the NPC in question? I even gave you the start and end time of the encounter. But you can not find my character fighting and defeating the monster? Obviously they are not trying too hard to find these things in logs.

Edit: NCSoft Support is so pathetic...

It also could mean that your buggy damn loot UI screwed up and would not even give us a roll window to roll on said item.

grrrr... they need to get their act together or more issues like this will cause a lot of people to go back to where they can actually feel like they are understood when they have an issue in game.

Honestly, I really like Aion as a game. If I do quit anytime soon, its going to be solely because of the lack of adequate support and bug fixes. It was a very different thing to have mediocre support 6 or 7 years ago when we were all just starting to play XI. But even in XI, I never felt completely unsupported. Nor were they any HUGE bugs that made me want to throw things. (Only thing that did that were Fire Crystals.)

Trying to find what quest starts the chain for the Asmodian Spy quest "For the good of all" in Lepharist Elyos area....NO info at all, finally found that saving atla might start the chain, but no idea as I have to wait for ppl to log in to do the chain after saving her.

Well, I'd say my armor is pretty solid right now, but I'm really hurting for a good weapon. Any luck to do Xenophon's quest has been bad (and I'm not really a fan of spears), legion's still generally too low in both level and number to try and target NMs, and the AH is pretty bare of great swords over 39. Being a weapon-dependent class, it blows. -.-

Crafted/world drop 35+ blues are more than enough to hold you over til Xeno or something better later on. I dunno about your broker on your server, but there's always quite a few of them on Vaizel.

fucking sinkholes in bodies of water. you can't get out and you don't take drowning damage, so your only option is to hit return. this shit happened to me while I was rifting in heiron, shit sux.

also, why did they rename interdiktah? "heiron" is so fucking generic.

You can dodge while stunned, CCed, everything. Lost sooo many times because someone dodged my carve, so they got away and started kiting. I'm an Assassin, and I still think it's retarded.

We were doing our daily sweep of rare spawns and were killing Supervisor Magnis, perfect pull, fight going fast and the fucking server lags out and we all get killed because by the time it caught up, it was too fucking late. To add even further insult to injury it wouldn't let me res, I had to forcefully close the client because hitting Quit and waiting 10 seconds was also worthless. They really need to fix this buggy piece of shit game.

On AA, it has Speed+22% listed as a 5/5 set bonus, but ingame, the +22% speed is no where to be found...wut.

So uh yeah.. weird glitch on their website. I was on the character page for my SM (Linking a friend), and this morning I clicked on the Aion home page where it said I was signed in under a different character on a different server and everything. I couldn't access any of the information but it was really weird O.o

I've had that happen more than once. Logged in and then it says Welcome, (some other character name). But when I go to broker/post status it corrects itself.

EU servers are total bollocks, getting really aggrivated at idiots screwing up shit that can flow so easy, same type of people KSing and constantly whining the game isn't as good as WoW.

Cancelled my subscription, back to console gaming, MW2 out soon so its not going to be a long wait til something else comes along to play.
