I love how prices are Premium Fluxes are upwards of 1million per. Needing 4 to have a 20% chance at making the HQ needed for the quest...
I guess i'm still playing with WoWtards on Lumiel, who would rather gather up their own small fortune then help out their fellow Asmo's get crafting up, which in turn allows more gear flow to happen and advances the entire faction.
All I know is the first person to complain when I charge them 200k for a craft or 10+million for an item can suck me.
Question
My character is physically stuck in the game. What do I do?
Answer
When this happens, all you need to do is type /stuck into your chat interface. This will free your character and prevent you from having to restart the game.
If for any reason the /stuck command does not release your character immediately, you may have to try and move your character around and then try the /stuck command again.
If you are still unable to free your character by using this method, please submit an in-game help request through the support option, from the menu drop down, for assistance in the game.
tried this?
The article is for other NCSoft games such as guild wars, there is no /stuck command in Aion to my knowledge. If you get stuck, you pretty much have to return or teleport scroll out unless somebody can duel you and pull you out which is rarely possible.
1/26 on HQ recipes crafting this weekend. Mother fucking Koa Staff mother fuckers. I have 11 fucking Worthy Koa Staves to sell. Fucking 0/11. Fuck you Koa. I'm going to just bukkake all over Sanctum.
Fucking expert test can lick my ass and then cut off it's tongue with a dull razor.
Someone in our guild is 0/3 on the first part of the Handicrafting expert test at 2M a pop. Poor guy lol.
I'm kind of hating how Defense is looking like a relatively useless stat like in so many other games.
I'm 0/3 on Armorsmithing expert.
2,500,000 for fluxes (if I'm lucky)
300,000 for mats off auction house (aether, ore, HQ ore)
900,000 for vendor mats
plus it takes almost an hour to turn the ore into the plates and wires
(each try)
Just think, your craft is one of the easier ones to get to expert too. I thought the losses from tailoring item was bad (I did mine on 1m fluxes), until I decided to go for handicrafting expert.
Here is handicrafting (based on current prices on my server)
Worthy Noble Durable Egrasi Bow:
6x Worthy Premium Weapon Flux (700k each) = 4.2m
25x High-Grade Mithril Ore (12k each) = 300k
17x High-Grade Aether (5k each) = 85k
1x Noble Durable Egrasi Bow (see below)
-----------------------------------
4.585m + Noble Durable Egrasi Bow per attempt (must crit for quest)
Noble Durable Egrasi Bow:
6x Premium Weapon Flux (200k each) = 1.2m
40x Egrasi Rod (15k each) = 600k
57x Egrasi Board (7.5k each) = 427.5k
78x Aether (1.75k each) = 136.5k
-----------------------------
2.364m per try (must crit to use in above item) - NPC for ~430k if NQ
Also, about 25 minutes per try on this bow to process egrasi logs into the needed rods and boards as well.
I personally went 2/18 on the bow needed to make the expert bow, but 1/2 on the expert quest bow. I'd consider myself fairly lucky overall on this, but the loss was still massive at close to 45 million total.
I believe alchemy and weaponsmithing get a similarly painful craft as well for expert.
So pretty much every crafter I've heard from has made it sound to me like crafting is a big money sink and doesn't actually make you any cash
What's the point then? Outside of one or two quests that require it near the end of the game, why level one?
They're probably telling you this because they don't want more competition
Seriously though, I make tons of money off crafting and I don't regret it at all. Just need to do a bit of homework to determine which items in your craft are useful and profitable and go from there, for example, on level 33 expert armor, the big items are the shoes (movement speed) and gloves (attack speed+) so they are in high demand while the others don't sell so well.
I find it kinda annoying a rift opens up for Asmo's right over the stairs to the Fire Temple. ._.; My group got split up since the Asmo's were camping the people trying to do Fire Temple. And it took awhile for Elyos to realize what was going on. But afterwords, the Eylos were camping the rift. >.>;
Unless you're Alchemy with RMT flooding potions they can easily undercut thanks to the plethora of materials they can gather 24/7. Nearly 3 weeks later and I'm still trying to sell off the last of the 400-some I made. -.-
I've also made a ton of money crafting and made myself a lot of useful gear. It just takes time and some work. If you're willing to gather, aether, yourself then you can reap up big rewards. I'm covered in blue armor, blue weapon, and have put it together fairly painlessly. I had a bad streak, yeah, but I'll bounce back. And I have no plans to change as I go.
