Elyos have it easier leveling, and have more world bosses, but I honestly dont care in a game that revolves around pvp. I do hate that Elyos sins get 2 great abilities while we Asmo's get shit though. Id trade a shitty self heal for a silence/slow anyday or another Aethertwisting.

How is it easier leveling? Asmo don't have mobs to grind on?


And Asmos get better stingmas/skills on sorc and glad; both factions have pros and cons.

Redmane Village blocking off half the map from the other for Elyos, Draupnir (though I suppose they fixed that?), better pvp skills (but on the other side, elyos have better pve skills. this is the kind of thing you might have wanted to look at BEFORE making your character), Betoni quest requires Asmodians to hang around one of your main quest hubs, stormcircle.

once your 325 and up you can do aether in the abyss, especially if you have some of the upper abyss forts capped, there is several 325-350-375 nods in the abyss, just no 300s, which forces you to do 300s in your own home (atleast alittle) the only other option is to max out on the 275s (around 215) and only have to do the 300s for 10 levels, but doing 275s until your 315 is excessively tedious.

your right that kinda stuff is something you want to look at before: and I think information was shared on this very forums at some point at time.

either side is overall "fine" in mine eyes. even if some sides are more instance based(pve) and the other is more about being cutthroat NM camping, trying to MPK/reset/outDPS each other bosses that only pop once a day(every-other day). my choice of Elyos wasn't for any of it's "perks" it was simply to be on the side I knew was gonna be less populated cause of the amount of people wanting to purposely being asmo

coming from FFXI: we should all understand that long respawn world bosses cause problems in the community (especially with instant gratification American faggotry)

Really kerberoz you complain about asmos running away a lot, but I sure as hell experienced it a good majority of the time I PvP'd elyos. It's equal on both sides. I loved chasing them into that leaf village in Heiron and then our assassin just ambushing and killing them inside the area when they thought they were safe.

I run. Others run. If you're not prepared or comfortable for a fight, there's no sense in just bending over and offering free AP. Make 'em earn it.

Running away is fine. It's stupid to fight when you're outnumbered. I'm talking about the bitches who hide behind their guards, even when they have the advantage, and base their entire pvp strategy around aggroing guards then jumping on you, training mobs, getting DoT then running to guards, etc. I mean, grats on the kill, woohoo, you're awesome and win at life, but lol @ the lack of dignity.

My complaint atm is the goddamn lvl 50 asmos that randomly come in and kill me while I'm farming aether in the storm circle.

They fixed the naming on a few items in the last patch, but level 43/45 expert fluxes are still mislabeled as major fluxes.

All of Draup was invisible to me today, no idea wtf was going on. Just the mobs would vanish and I could only target with tab or assist..

My character now sometimes stops attacking mid battle. I don't mean the whole auto-attack thing. I mean I can't manually get him swinging again for a period of time (sometimes the entire fight). I can still use skills etc, I am not 'under status'. Only started happening post patch.

I got this constantly on my Chanter alt before the patch, usually after casting Smite.

I'm annoyed by clerics who need on Chaingear just to sell it on the AH (while i needed that nice blue body to wear) and I'm annoyed how boring Aion is on Level 41. >.>;;
