The Abyss is one thing, but all rifts are is higher level players greifing on lowbies. It's extremely frustrating and honestly, I don't even see the point of rifts at all.

As long as you know where the rifts are and where the enemy faction will likely go, it's pretty easy to avoid rifters completely.

I don't know, maybe it's just my server, but higher level Asmodians on Azphel are retardedly lazy when it comes to pushing out rifting chickens.

Two nights in a row now they've been sitting in the Tower of Spirits in Morheim picking off people that are trying to complete Missions/Quests there, and not one person will come out to help clear them out of there.

do a different quest/mission or grind somewhere else, the game is based around pvp not pve, deal with it. i fucking hated the idea of a mainly pvp game until i finally got high enough to actually fight some people, just learn to run when you see a bunch of red names coming at you

Still annoyed at the chat background problem, but I am so used to it now. Minor complaint though: I can move around my party member on-screen list but can't move mob/target display. As a ranger, I rely heavily on the distance meter, but on my screen resolution the meter is all the way up on the screen. Would be nice to move these things around. That brings me to another thing: it's high time NCS allows add-ons.

Somehow they changed it that you need to stop pressing forward before you can activate the automatic forward D: thats realy annoying.

I notice that too and yah, very annoying.

I assume you mean the Fortress of Sorrow? The mobs in that area are all friendly to Elyos and they have a series of spy quests that take them there. If you don't want to run into rifters, stay the hell out.

You keep the DP if you log back in within a certain period. I think it was 5 minutes or something like that.

No, not at all. I'm not talking about a group coming in, doing a quest, ganking for an hour or two, and then leaving. These guys were there two nights in a row, all night, specifically trying to gank lowbies trying to do quests.

I would think at some point someone would have had enough and come down to help, but no such luck.

You're right, and we did. It still it gets frustrating though, having to now go back on day 3 to accomplish two simple quests. It's hard to adjust to this atmosphere, I gues 6 years of pure PvE can do that to you. Who knows, maybe it'll grow on me, like it has for you.

Yep that's the place I meant, they weren't there for quests though. They actually stopped killing long enough to store chat at a distance for about a minute. I asked if they were there questing, and they admitted to being there just to kill Asmos and slow them down. I guess I just don't see how that could be fun, even the AP must be shit with the level difference.

Haha, I love the Fortress. They just have one Spy Quest that they need to go to the top and talk to the Winged NPC at the top and then set off fire works in the middle of that huge spire. Have some fun times ganking people who are trying to get to the top.

When I made my Elyos during OB, I think I took over an hour making her. But once I knew what I wanted it went by a lot quicker for my second char and later for live.

When it went live, I tried my best to mock it with my Asmo chars. My SM came out fine, although I do notice little things here and there that I could adjust. (I get a lot of people commenting on how cute she is.. even have a screenshot stalker! *cough*Nineball*cough* heh)

My Cleric I thought came out fine... but now that I played her to 13 I see a lot of little issues I missed. I'd hate to delete her and remake just because of them since I started leveling Armorsmithing 100+ on her. Her nose looks a little.. big. She's smiling too much for my liking despite putting the smile bar under the middle a tiny bit. She looks nothing like my OB Cleric. ><

I tried not to make the same mistake with my Glad. I made her, logged in and checked it out, then deleted her and remade her. She looks fine now. The game ever so slightly changes things when you log in.

Anyway, point: I do hope they release them soon. I'd rather not pay real money. Hopefully they'll add a quest for one to start off, or even an event reward would be nice.
