I'm pissed about the new wave of level 10 RMT bots mass spamming tells.
I'd just consider legion rankings a joke. One I'm in is all like, "We need to climb ranks and be the bestest ever!" when their actions pretty much suggest they'll be anything but.
Aside from Censored, I think Kupo and Fallen Sun are the only legions that have really conquered stuff otherwise. Whether or not shit's just falling apart because people are unhappy with the game, I dunno. I have no real perspective on the Asmo side aside from random gank squads that stroll through Eltnen and Heiron.
if i disconnect and die with rebirth up, log me the fuck in where i can use it instead of auto hping me
ok so now the seige crash "fix" is getting on my nerves. walking into a crafting area is enough to trigger it, so I either need to relog or zone out to use the auction house when I'm done crafting.
I'd totally agree that they're a joke, but it's more of the fact that it seems those entire legions have just fallen off the earth. I think Tonks is the only Kupo member I see, and the other legions are far and in between. Are the higher ups just getting burnt out?
I dunno, I can't speak for them. I haven't really focused on leveling my Gladiator at all these past couple weeks. Happens in most any MMO I play where I fight some kind of burnout in the midlevel phase. Some of it also me just looking at the prices of shit and shaking my head. I don't care how fucking easy people say it is to make money, but when I'm out killing shit and very little drops, crunch numbers on synths to see minimal gains, or spend hours gathering just to have RMT undercut me considerably, I get a bit vexed. I'm also somewhat regretting my first class choice since it just doesn't seem properly balanced in a good/overpowered way.
In theory, I could avoid financial strain if I actually had a small handful of people to run around with and reliably get shit done in instances and such, but aside from general conversation here, I haven't exactly seen an Aion-related forum where I could get a feel for people. Kaisinel-specific boards are usually just legion recruit spam and more general chats are just QQ about Asmo have it hard or how NC sucks at banning RMT.
For now, my lazy plan has just been leveling alts to 25 and then NTCing them up in hopes of Daevenian set drops. I have my Cleric and Chanter to 25 with Sorc at like 1/3 into 23. If I can decide on which class I'd then like to take 30+, it'll probably get the full set, weapon, and then just go from there. I might even server hop when that's available to hook up with some old FFXI friends.
Maybe it's just a bad time of year. Holidays coming up. Did the WoW expansion come out? Some have certainly quit for whatever reason.
I played c-aion for months and had preordered NAion but never actually played when it went live. I had to reformat and just reinstalled and when i click launch from NCsoft launcher it says launching..fills up and poof... nothing.
Anybody know a fix to this problem?
I had to download, install, download, install, like six times. Was really frustrating. Took forever for the file to download correctly. I wish I'd bought it via steam.
"You have stopped gathering."
Happens like 10% of the time for me, where I will get that message right after clicking on a gathering node. Is this a bug, or is it supposed to work that way?
Lag mainly. This thing plagued me in c-aion but actually almost never happens now when I play EU version.
Man, it drives me absolutely crazy, especially when I get lucky and begin gathering the HQ variety of a resource.
If you wait an extra 1 second or so after you finish gathering, you shouldn't have that issue.
I don't think it's a bug either, you only need to wait roughly one second. You should get used to it really fast
perhaps this is made so that another player can take your node before you completely gather it (I never tried though so I wouldn't know)
I can understand not being able to gather for 1-2 seconds after your last attempt, but the fact that it uses up a gather attempt on the node when that happens is extremely lame.
Yeah, could be that I'm just a bit click-happy at times, but I usually do wait for my entire success animation to be complete + ~1 second before clicking it again. I'll just have to be a teence more patient.
Still irks me though, since it does indeed begin the gathering process, even telling me exactly what I'm gathering (NQ vs. HQ). In one case last night, I got a pruple success "pop" the moment I started gathering, but then stopped gathering a split second later before it could finish.
