Should've done cooking, I had zero craft up until level 50 and then got to 449 within 2 days lol.
I hate the fact that this game rewards gankers especially on lowbies. These two Lv40 asmos on my server love to go ganking lowbies (level 36-38ish) around the Lepharist Citadel. I suspect they are kinah buyers too with ridiculous gear for their level. Such is the game. It's not made to be fair so you have to fight as dirty as you can. In the long run, no one cares about dignity or nobility. It's just a matter of who died. who didn't, number of kills.
Just got out of a HQ group where a 35 glad ninja'd Unwavering Devotion from the 37 templar, when everyone else passed for him. Reasoning "well i can use it too." Gotta love grouping with scrub ass legion mates who come from shitty games.
Wait, legion mates did that? Shit. That's fucked up.
K-I-C-K-E-D.
Had a glad lot cloth pauldrons from me even though I declared that they were an upgrade. His excuse? "I haven't gotten a drop yet"
Azphel's curse... Takes a ridiculously long time to reset completely. Solo rifted to beluslan on my 30 assassin alt, made ~180 kills (very few below my level, just an occasional low level gather bot) and got the curse after killing a 35. The description of the curse says I became cursed because of killing too many lower level targets in the opposition territory but it kicked in when I killed somebody 5 above me. My run ended shortly after due to the curse giving away my kisk location after I released to it on death.
The curse wore off after about 30 minutes of standing in sanctum, I wait a bit and rift again and am cursed again after only 5 kills, all were higher level than me. The kill that it kicked in on was a 39. Seriously? It's not like I was a 50 constantly ganking 35s or something, about 95% of the kills were equal or greater in level.
From what it sounds like after searching some boards, I need to wait like 8+ hours for it to reset completely. Seems a bit steep to me.
penalized for pvping in a pvp game.. haha
I could understand if I was constantly ganking low level people as that could be seen as a pretty cowardly thing to do, but I wasn't. For the most part, people don't even set foot there until 30. I killed low level gather bots there maybe 10 times throughout the night. I'm pretty sure everyone else was 30 at the very least, mostly 32+.
I wonder if it was due to the fact that I had accumulated 700+ kills there in the last 4 days and those kills just didn't reset completely. I didn't see the curse at all until tonight even though the previous 3 nights I had made 150-250 kills each night there.
reading patch notes is hard
Penalties of PvP in PVE Areas
If you go on a killing rampage in enemy territory (does not apply to the Abyss), you will receive penalties for doing so. This is called the Slayer System. The effects are as follows:
1. Depending on the amount of killings you will receive points. If your penalty points go over a certain limit, you will receive the penalty effects. If you kill lower leveled players than you, you will receive more points.
2. The penalty effects are categorized into two. One is a "Curse" and you cannot use rifts. The second is a "Judgment" and under this effect you cannot be resurrected in any Kisk placed in the enemy territory, as well as use rifts.
3. The name of the Curse/Judgment depends on the race. If you are Elyos, you will receive Curse/Judgment of Asphel. Asmodians will get Curse/Judgment of Ariel.
4. Once you come under Curse or Judgment, your location will be revealed throughout the local map for the entire opposing faction members. Also, even if you are under a hiding skill, your title will be seen, making it even easier to be spotted.
5. You must go back to your own lands or the Abyss and wait for a certain amount of time for the Curse or Judgment to disappear.
6. If you or someone else kills a slayer, 12 nearby players of the dead body will receive buffs.
7. The killer of the slayer will be announced throughout the area chat under the format of ?[Race]?s Hero [Killer of the Slayer] has defeated [Slayer] while he was under [Judgment or Curse] of [Ariel or Asphel].
And Inactive was laughing because Corwin got penalized for PvPing in a PvP game... you following?
He was laughing before the patch notes were posted. The way I'm reading it is no more "retarded" as the way you are reading it.
Not to mention you still get points for killing people the same lvl as you which... is being penalised for PvPing, so he was right.
