I think the fact that I can have an item up for 4m, someone comes along and can see that i have it up for 4m then lists theirs at 3,999,999 knowing this and basically assuring they'll get the next sale over me unless I decide to re-list mine and lose an extra 90k is fucking retarded. Theres no strategy involved in that whatsoever, its just see what the lowest price is then undercut it by 1 and you win.

I don't see how an FFXI system could work here though, considering you can enchant, manastone, remodel, dye, sell in any size stack amounts, etc. before listing the items essentially turning it into a completely different item if even one of those things is done.

EDIT: The newest update making fort sieges end after 30 minutes after the deity general appearing is pretty retarded also.

I was trying to type "gdi the only gold i'll ever find is a pos" because i found a gold flux that was going for less then 100k.
Couldn't hit enter and have it appear. Then figured out it was the "only gold" phrase that makes it not work.

In FT group and any green+ quality items we cant loot, it just says "is one of the quality items waiting to be distributed" but whatever we set loot settings to we can't pick up.

Known issue, you can solve by setting all item loot quality to free for all.

you know: you and your group of people could go do artifacts too: quit bitching like everyone else should do it so you can fight the boss with no worries.
as for heals, don't count on outside PTs your party needs to be able to heal themselves so stop crying about your side failing when you, you're self, are just as bad.

I had this problem in a group I did NTC with. About half way through this started happening. I had chalked it up to the massive dc/reconnect/reinviting we had to do during the first half that eventually broke the loot system. At least the boss didn't drop anything. >.>


I don't see 30mins being enough for the current state of players to take a fort if there is any kind of resistance from the other faction. We currently have all of the lower abyss on Meslamtaeda and I don't think that will change until the dredgion pays a visit.

Yea, ever since this update, the only time an upper fort has changed hands that I can recall is asteria being taken by balaur on my server. Since the bans, it seems neither side has the numbers to take roah/asteria within 30 minutes even without resistance, and krotan/kysis/miren had always taken us over an hour to capture to begin with. Lower forts still get exchanged often though.

Asmodians on Triniel took Asteria from the Elyos last night with 15 minutes to spare. The only difference now is that every single fort will not be changing hands every single time it goes vulnerable.

And really, don't complain about the lack of heals in Fort sieges. I'd like to heal, it's just that if I heal I get no medals. Either I DPS the entire time or I get kinah if I'm lucky.
