With that said, I have noticed a handful of players lately exploiting this fact to avoid a PVP death. Start gliding down a slope or cliff and press logout, usually this is accompanied by some sort of CC or movement speed debuff beforehand to buy time to get ahead making it virtually impossible to catch up to them within 10 seconds and make a hit before they vanish. The only real counter to this seems to be to throw a dot on them that they can't pot out of before they get a chance to glide off, but most classes don't have this option.
So why not just camp where they logged out at? When you first log in, change zones, or release to a kisk, you are completely invulnerable for a minute or until you move your char at all or perform an action. You can't be targeted, even an AoE won't work. This means even if you do camp them on login, they can abuse this and just log back out again if the coast isn't clear. This is beyond pathetic.
