Where to start..
First off, for a pvp game, this lacks a serious amount of pvp, specifically in the grind to 50.
Second, the use of consumables in any pvp game downgrades it to that of a 'who has more of the best consumables' fight and less on skill. I've heard most people say consumables are considered part of your gear, especially end game.
Third, the pvp itself. Lack of teching screws over any chance of an undergeared player against a higher geared player. LoS seems to be condemned to hiding behind rocks waiting for those precious few seconds for potion cooldown.
Hands down the only class that seems remotely interesting to pvp as is the sorc. Ability to both avoid and deal high amounts of damage as well as numerous CC's. In comparison, I think ncsoft should focus more on bringing up the other classes to the Sorc's level, ultimately making the game interesting.
As for the grind itself, it was not bad at all. That is, until you hit 30+. Then the game became a 'find a spot and grind for days' style leveling. Lets face it, you gained more xp/hr then you did with questing simply because of the massive amount of traveling required. I got a ranger to 36 before growing increasingly tired of having to kite mobs my level to avoid taking damage and ultimately down time. I also got a templar to 37 and I have to admit, I enjoyed it up until this level. After a while leveling became a chore with which the product of all the hard work was stale, unskilled, gear/consumable based pvp.
Hands down the biggest let down I've had for any mmo.
