"Thank you for providing us with your feedback. I have reviewed the allegations and it appears that the account from whom you have gotten the Kinah indeed was not hacked. As such, I have cleared the account of any wrongdoing with regard to the Kinah issue. Unfortunately, while investigating the account, I have found substantial evidence that character Decoy has been under the influence of an illegal program during the month of January. Therefore, I regret to inform you that the account will remain closed for violating the User Agreement via use of an unauthorized third party program."

"we know you used an illegal program" is a less dire way of saying "we figure out who's hacking by looking into your Aion/system folder and checking for Aion.exe instead of Aion.bin", which is what the nvidia SLI fix entails

(and also why I was banned, I needed to rename aion.bin to aion.exe to associate it with a program called Widecap)

I've always thought it was funny some people have complained for years SE should have an official forum. They have some naive idea about what that would accomplish. But in reality it would be just like Aion's. A soup of misspelled whining from all the worst players that is heavily moderated and controlled.

-Rubberbanding
-Arbitrary flight paths that only allow for some destinations (e.g. you can't go to Haven from Heiron Observatory)
-Bad translations ("You'd be better!")
-Players that type messages erratically peppered with caps. ("LOOKING for chanter and GLAD for theo LABS then GTG!"
-Mobs that are too weak to want to deal with but that walk just close enough to aggro during a gather.

I would disagree and agree with this at the same time...

Blizzard official forums can be a festival of BS and crap but Blizzard does a decent job with moderation of the specific forums that matter. They communicate fairly well, even if they don't always talk straight and dont always back up what they say with action.

If SE was willing to put out the customer support/PR money to pay their team to keep a well moderated forum, it would be a good thing. Yet we all know that SE is not Blizzard, even if they are now speaking about trying to be better than they have been. The best statement to be had is ... "Its better to not have a forum than have an undermoderated one."

As for Alla vs AS... Why we even comparing them? Its like comparing Dog Shit to Horse Shit. They both stink, they both are disgusting, the only difference is the size and color of the shit.
