Don't know how many more sanctum medals I can grind out before I ragequit, this shit sucks
And I haven't even started HHoM
Also, fuel to the fire for the st patties event:
Apparently in a lot of cases, the coins the GM gave out to people were for the wrong race and can not be used, ex giving Asmos "coins awarded by Sanctum" or Elyos "coins awarded by Pandaemonium". You can submit a gm ticket and wait a while to get them exchanged but.............lol
The medal grind quest is a really great way to make money. Even if you aren't the luckiest person in the world, you still make a decent amount of kinah farming them solo. I made over 15M doing it just getting green fluxes, world whites, platinum coins, and the occasional expert flux.
Leveling my second cleric to 30 at small doses since I just can't stand it. Stuck at 23, out of quests and grinding harpies is slow as fuck. Really close to /wristing. And yes Trich you were right Q_Q
"But I like leveling clerics! LOL"
Well color me amused.
Fuck you @ last 2 replies. I'll mpk you while you sleep.
Yeah, I got like to 13 or so medals, probably averaging around 150k a run with maybe every 4th run dropping a white to NPC. Sure, it was nice building funds back up after blowing 8 mil on the first two Miragent pieces, but I also knew the HHoM was a few more repeats away. 1.9's changes don't really look to be dramatically changing that, even though prices on blood should go down some. Honestly, the 5 fail quest should just become a trade for the HQ.
Armorsmithing vendor bought mats are expensive as fuck
Maybe it's different for the Asmo side, but doing a Calydon repeat for Plat Coins is going a bit out of your way and adding like 30 minutes to a medal run that can already take 1.5-2 hours depending on luck. Think my fastest was an hour and fifteen minutes.
10 mil in Blood alone for one try is still too rich for my blood. I think the Expert Fluxes were going for a mil apiece or more, but maybe the vendor can help there if they actually sell them and aren't retardedly priced. Only way I can really see people easing up on the cost is if suddenly Miragent's isn't the be-all set to strive for with the cap increase or something.
You don't do Plat Coin runs while doing medals. I leveled from 47-50 on them, and would then pretty much just go grind them when I didn't have anything else to do lol.
I wish it was 10m an attempt, on Siel last I checked bloods were still 250k+ each. People are always going to want Miragent's; it might not be the "best" set after the levle cap increase, but I'm sure having the set will make a lot of the content easier to get the next set.
Eh, I interpreted it as you getting like 45m while working on the shoulders doing coin runs in between. That kinda had me doing the, "Hell no..." in my head since, even at 20k per coin, that's still a hell of a lot coins on top of the 150k*30+random shit that'd drop while grinding the medals.
So last night I log on to find my Legion disbanding. Apparently when the leader left to start up his own legion it caused a lot of bad blood between members. Since the guy took our level 50's to his legion. And ever since then, my legion got turned into a bitch legion by the other guy and he's not doing so good on the server. Ain't making any friends with the way he's acting. And Menace ended up getting a bad reputation from being associated with the other legion. Pyree should know which legion I'm talking about... xP
90% of that money was from drops; I've gotten several gold weapons, and a stupid amount of premium stones while farming. With premium greens were going for a mil each, the white weapon stones from 3-500k a piece, it really adds up fast. I was averaging around 3-4 white weapon stones on a good night, on top of other drops; yeah it was a huge luck factor, but considering the thousands of mobs I killed it was almost a case of drop %'s working out.
That's pretty much the sole reason I love Calydons: they made me so much money back when prices were high, and I could kill 2-3 at a time lol.
