Aion: Random Complaint Thread.

90% of that money was from drops; I've gotten several gold weapons, and a stupid amount of premium stones while farming. With premium greens were going for a mil each, the white weapon stones from 3-500k a piece, it really adds up fast. I was averaging around 3-4 white weapon stones on a good night, on top of other drops; yeah it was a huge luck factor, but considering the thousands of mobs I killed it was almost a case of drop %'s working out.

That's pretty much the sole reason I love Calydons: they made me so much money back when prices were high, and I could kill 2-3 at a time lol.

I have yet to see a world drop fucking orange weapon now and I'm on my 2nd 50.

Only gold drop I ever got was some level 35 shoes with no run speed on them. So, of course, they sold for less than a mil because people preferred the expert stuff or Guardian Commando.

Calydons never really dropped anything for me, though. A small handful of recipes (among them one to make calydon dumplings, wtf?!?!), I maybe got 2 weapon fluxes off them ever while completing the repeat chains and getting coins in between, and like 2 of their blue molars that AHed for nothing.

Really, they're such a pain in the ass to fight, starting each fight with their charge, hitting for like 700+ damage, trying to wound you, and then repeating their Redirect/Backside combo for 700+ each move. Even with powders and Draining Blow, too often I had to stop and rest if knockdowns weren't cooperating.

Its fun getting treed and then nuked at low HP thinking you'd resist it and aren't quick enough on FE, too.

All cuz I was either too lazy to pop a pot just yet or I was too tired to notice my HP.

I've literally killed thousands of them to get the kinda drops I mentioned.

I'm a SM so they're retardedly easy to kite: sic pet on one, chain of earth > cyclone > pain of hell on another = double kill in ~10-12s at most. Rinse repeat a few hundred thousand times and watch the money roll in.

Pretty damn lucky. I don't know how many times I did the plat coin quest and never saw shit. Probably upwards of 75+ times.

Trying to lv my alt yesterday in Herion w/a friend.. fuckin at least 30+ asmo running around Herion.. couldn't quest for more then 10 minutes w/o being gang raped. its so much fun /sarcasm. So because asmo suck in fort pvp, they all have decided to roam elten

There are plenty of elmos that live in Asmodae, too. It's bad on both sides. Especially the twinkers. You get some that spend most of their time in the opposite faction's territory. There's no dissuading them. High level comes? They run. Kill them? They come back. Kill them again? They wait til you get bored and leave, then come back. Oh well, just part of the game, right? I guess we just have to get used to it.

It's fun in some aspects, but with some of the twinks that run around, they can really just put your game on a dead stop if they feel like it. Pretty much pay per month to have to work around whenever the twinks get bored or have something else to do. Couldn't even enjoy more of the lower level quests because it was just a rush to get out of Eltnen so I wouldn't get ganked every 10 minutes. The game is okay in some aspects aside from the ganking, but I can't say I'm not going to enjoy going back and killing every rifter at 50 who tries to step foot into Eltnen.

It's a shame really, I was looking forward to Aion for such a long time, and with how it turned out, I doubt I'll play long enough to make it to the 6 month rewards. Open world PVP blows.

Was killing an Asmo SM in the Core who was farming Bloods/AP, he feared me as usual.. yet somehow I ended up flying at Legendary speed (while fear'd) through a floor, through a wall, and into the Divine fort basement Deity room. Ended with me popping UD & trying to Charge out the front door, I got to the exit & finally died from the epic train

Just to be fully accurate, you didn't get feared into the deity room, the divine fort deity spawns upstairs.

In his defense, there is no trying to kill that shit on Vaizel. We barely have been able to take something other than Miren for the last 2 months. No one has even made attempts at Divine. So no one really knows shit about the active fort.
