Core forts aren't that hard to take if the other faction isn't there, so it depends on server lol

We took roah and asteria in one night with the asmos trying to stop us, then took the three upper inners over 2 nights without them there and had no problems except waiting for them to actually go vuln

We barely have been able to take something other than Miren for the last 2 months. No one has even made attempts at Divine. So no one really knows shit about the active fort.

Yup we did, but we've only been capable of taking Krotan and Kysis as a server for just around 2 months.

Edit: Correction, we've only had the motivation to do so for such a short time. Honestly, it doesn't seem like we have it on either side at the moment.

One thing i CANNOT stand in this game is templars who think they are all high and mighty because they are 'the tank'


You know the ones who cry and complain about someone else pulling and then say stuff like 'IF YOU PULL AGAIN IMA LET YOU DIE' when you can solo the mob yourself? Or when you can tank it yourself with the healer healing you JUST LIKE THE HEALER DOES FOR THE TANK?

Then the ones that kick you because you don't listen to 'their' rules.

ugh. always tanks and healers. you never see dps boasting about their damage. 'I WONT KILL THE MOB FOR YOU IF YOU DON'T LISTEN TO ME!'

oh man did my first SR yesterday...

myself on glad, girlfriend on cleric, another glad who was 44 and tank, sorc, ranger, sin.

so basically, the glad wasnt voking adds and they were making a b-line straight for cleric/sorc so i was voking adds just to help out a bit, but occasionally autoattack (which is another complaint i have) would wake the mob whilst im trying to tab+voke. anyway, the sorc starts moaning along the lines of "if you keep waking the mobs im gunna leave".. to which i proceeded to try and explain that, even if it did wake up, i would just offtank it until it got slept again but she wasnt having any of it, then i took a small dig at the glad tank because he was just awful. (why do glads not perpetually voke mobs whne they are tanking?)

anyway, fast forward 2 and 1/2 hours and we're finally near the boss, after countless turn ins and after about 4 of them, i said "can we just go to boss cause i need to go fairly soon" and my gf asked "stop pulling and start pulling mobs to the boss", to which the glad said "no i want pins i will keep pulling mobs for pins" which made the whole group rage, so the sin started pulling and tanking instead and we get to the boss, all of us moaning at the glad.

boss time rolls around, and we kill it fairly easily thankfully, he drops blue set plate gauntlets, i say need, the other glad says nothing. i roll a 25, he rolls a 48.

F M L, why do all the shitty players get all the drops?

To be fair, a main tanking gladiator might have some difficulty keeping the attention of multiple mobs. Either damage on the currently engaged one might not be enough if you have an overzealous sorc/ranger, or provoke alone isn't enough to overcome cure hate on the slept secondaries. Though, I guess the latter will be a non-issue if they ever release 1.9.

Sounds about like the same luck we've been having with SE. Either was get constant "trash" green drops or we'll get "decent" blue cloth (ALWAYS FUCKING CLOTH) that goes to the pubbies. It's almost like the game purposely rewards people who don't want to try nor give a shit about their character.

My friends and I refer to this as "Scrubs Get Geared" phenomenon: its very common, and really fucking irritating.

Think of it like poles on a magnet. Good gear repulses good gear! Try putting your good stuff in your warehouse and get some cheap greens and whites (several levels below you), then randomly rearrange all of your quickbars. You'll be rolling in golds in no time!

Oh god, so true, some fucking scrub ranger on my server in level 20 whites got Krom Bow a few weeks ago, he's level 40 now and he won the roll on Heaven-Shattering Longbow a few days ago.

as for the "their rules" comment, when I run a party I'm in charge: and if people don't follow my ground rules: hell yeah I'm fucking booting them. I might not always do things the "best" way or ways some people like, but my choices are always directed in the parties best interest.

I don't boast about my dmg that much (being a sorc I'm kinda on low-end ) but when I finally capped my MBoost the other week I was bragging a bit hehe, 11500~ Flame Sprays are just smexy >:3. As for on lotting shit for alts, if someone in groups wins something I want for my SM or Ranger etc, I just whisper them and try to buy for dirt cheap and explain the situation, not be a douche and demand it haha.

Hit 2600 for me multiple times and wouldn't go over it seemed... I'll mess with Boon of STR later but was pretty sure it wasn't rising anymore lol. (Note: Was with Chanter buffage)
