Doing hairpin runs on my alt in sr mid, ask group "hey guys 50 temp ok?" One person says no problem, other 3 don't answer, so I ask again. Still no answer. I invite the temp and 2 of them leave without saying a word. Guess I gotta wait for merge to work on my hat cause this server is too retarded.
edit: And then after madame died half the group left without a word, including the person who looted the keys. ffs
failed my first heart while my buddy failed his 9th attempt.
I'm like 4/13 on L55+ stones trying to enchant my expert noble adamantium polearm (level 35). Is there some clue I'm not understanding to how this shit works? I've also broken 17 attack +5 stones trying to slot my PVP staff for combining later, but I knew that's how that would probably go.
Jesus Christ. Seriously? All of the charts and guides I've ever seen have suggested 15-20 levels, but that's just lost me great deals of kinah. Although, the 3-4 mil I lost on those 13 stones would equal 1-2 L69-L72 stones.
25+ on golds
Personal fiddling has me believing you need to add one level to the stone per actual enchant level. So, with the 35 gold, you start with an L55, when it's +1 go to L56, +2 to L57 and so on. I still believe there's a minimum fail rate no matter what you do, though, but it felt like such a progression kept your chances of success capped.
On the other hand, there is a minimum success rate, too. I've had an L37 stone successfully enchant a level 41 weapon.
That's what I had been doing and it's just been no luck. After 13 stones I'm back to the base polearm.
After their ninja nerf on drop rates, I wouldn't rule out tweaks to the enchantment system, too. Because Elyos is EZ Mode.
It's been like that for a long time for me. I have no luck in Aion at all.
Yeah I went 3/5 on my 35 Gold weapon with 55+ stones, I think the highest I had on me was 57. Just seems random with the success. Once I get some more free stones I'll probably keep trying to at least +10 but I don't feel like buying those stones outright, much nicer when they're free from greens.
People who insist on training the end of Theobomos Labs. Sure, it saves 5 minutes, but if anything at all goes wrong I, as a chanter, am fucked. I cycle pure enmity. The cleric doesn't want to do it, they insist, the party bullies her into it, so she runs into the room, the wrong way. I try to help her and get killed in the middle of a crowded hallway. The party gives me two options: come back and train it myself, or fuck off. Awesome. Thanks for saving me 5 minutes.
A lot of people call this guy the best sin on our server:

Was apparently banned today.
he doesn't look so good now lol
1.9 made it a lot easier. Removed a lot of mobs, changed some elites to normal mobs, changed some of the habits, allows you to skip an entire section. Without training it takes 45 minutes now, which is my point. If it's still taking 2-3 hours then something is very wrong.
COOL STORY but why is everyone saying that then?
It seems that killing a tard that repeatedly dive-bombs your party that is camping the core 10x = AP trading.
Stripped of 137k AP for that this morning lol.
