Yea, an alternative (non-RNG) means to getting the green weapon would be nice. I've ran taloc's 37 times between 2 chars, only 6 weapons have dropped (dagger x2, bow, mace, polearm, spellbook) leaving 4 weapons I have yet to obtain (orb, staff, sword, greatsword). Considering the 2 day lockout, it could easily take somebody 3+ months of running taloc's everytime the cooldown comes up just to see the desired weapon with drop rates like that. Getting the items needed to upgrade the weapon to a gold on the other hand can be done in about a week of running udas/BT + ~13m kinah. Nothing wrong with that picture at all.

Soooo i just got an email today, 2 actually. One resetting my password and the other saying my account was reactivated on a game card. ....yea, i'm gonna have to agree with the skeptics, NCsoft has a serious security breach somewhere they've yet to find. No one knows my account info, i don't have a keylogger nor anything else on my pc, and i quit about a month ago. angry email wheeeeeeeeeeeee

nope, it was from NCsoft support, and i check in my account info and it said my account was playable til nov 8th, meaning they put time on it. SO yea, someone either cracked into the database, or they gave out myinfo, or something, cause i sure as hell didn't give it out. My ffxi/ffxiv/everything else would be hacked by now if it was actually on my end

From what I gathered from it, the guy got the tome drop in his very first S-grade DP run about 2 months ago then recently DE'd it. The tome is probably the best in the game currently, even at level 55.

On a side note, WTB that L106 stone he got lol.

Master Carved Tome has better stats, seeing as you're going to be combined to a 55 ap weapon that has 20% cast speed. 19 magic crit, 180 hp, 60 MB, 70 Macc > 20% attack speed.

And Pooky, can't wait for someone to do that 4 months from now(from someone not running forts for AP). Don't wanna think of spending 100+m for tome and another who knows how much TRYING to enchant that thing.

I've got the designs for the orb (friend has for tome), the problem is the 50m+ per attempt at the acual gold > orange synth...not counting the 18 days between attempts or the cost to even get a gold for the craft. (personally I'm up to 4/20 on getting green procs alone...@700k per attempt iirc).


And fuck enchanting it, just getting from eternal to carved is going to be in the same ballpark as +10...I dont even want to think about +15 @_@

I'm not even sure it's worth trying ATM, you've got a better chance of eternal weapon from s rank or bash hard mode.

No joke...I've been saving Fine ele stones ever since Urquan fucked up the morph NPC spawn on vaizel, have 11,000+saved so far but...realistically i know i'll need threefold of that at the least to even get a shot at eternal. Just for white>green yeeeeeeah

Morph vendors are fixed now, elemental stones is like 90k; brilliant malevite ore is 5m+.

I haven't seen anyone with the L55 eternal tomes yet so I don't find it realistic anytime soon.

However.. I do have one question. Didn't everyone in the group pass the book to the Sorc thinking he would use it?

Well....I finally got my account back....stripped of all useful things, like 10 mil kinah lost, some golds, some blues, all my sub characters stripped of gear/valuables....lovely....does aion even have a rollback program like wow/ffxi?

Yes they do, just send in a petition explaining the situation and they should be able to get your stuff back within a few days.

What? the Sorc in the group did use the tome for a while, but now has no use for it, so why keep it?

The PUG's here are almost as bad as Siel's, I am actually pretty surprised but maybe it's because everyone is on high level characters by now. Any Elyos on Vaizel want to go to DC? QQ everyone here have no balls to rift there, I am actually more concerned about them even being able to make it to the actual instance alive.
